Ezo un Rjūkjū integrācija Japānā

Abstract

Darbs „Rjūkjū un Ezo integrācija Japānā” dod ieskatu vēsturē, kā tika pievienoti šie reģioni Japānai un Japānas mēģinājumi asimilēt šajos reģionos dzīvojošās tautas. Rjūkjūieši un ainu ir džomon cilvēku pēcteči, kurus modernie japāņi asimilēja ienākot vairākos viļņos no Korejas un Ķīnas pirmajā gadu tūkstotī. Darbs uzsver to kā, kādā veidā japāņi vienlaicīgi mēģināja nošķirties no šīm divām tautām un tās pārvaldīt. Darbs apkopo, kādēļ šie divi reģioni bija ikoku jeb ārzemes, kamēr formāli viņi skaitījās Japānas sastāvā. Kā arī tiks atklātas problēmas, kuras radās pārejas periodā no ikoku uz pilntiesīgām Japānas prefektūrām.

The paper “Integration of Ezo and Ryukyus in Japan” gives an insight on how were these regions added to Japan and Japans efforts to assimilate the nations livings in those regions. The Ryukyuans and Ainu are the descendants of the Jomon people, who were assimilated by the modern Japanese coming from China and Korea in several waves in the first millennia. The paper emphasizes how the Japanese tried to retire from these two nations and govern them at the same time. The paper will summarize why these regions were ikoku, foreign lands, whilst formally being part of Japan. Also there will be disclosed the problems, which appeared during the transcendence period from ikoku regions to full-fledged Japans prefectures.
