Teoloģija Apgaismības laikmeta ietekmē

Abstract

Maģistra darbā analizēts, kā Apgaismības laikā nostiprinātā racionalitātes epistemoloģija ietekmē kristīgās teoloģijas metodoloģiju un saturu. Darbā izmantota salīdzinošā metode, pretstatot divas konceptuāli atšķirīgas metodoloģijas: konstruktīvo metodi, ko pārstāv Gordons Kaufmans, un tradicionālo, atklāsmē balstīto metodi, ko pārstāv Karls Barts. Pētījums atklāj, ka tad, kad par teoloģijas noteicošo kritēriju kļūst Apgaismības racionālās prasības, tas noved pie izmaiņām kristīgās ticības saturā: Dievs tiek saprasts kā cilvēka konstrukts, atklāsme – kā konstruktīvs darbs un refleksija par cilvēku pieredzi, Jēzus Kristus – kā morālais ideāls, bet teoloģija – kā viena no humanitārajām zinātnēm.

The master's thesis titled Theology Under the Influence of the Enlightenment analyzes how the epistemology of rationality, consolidated during the Enlightenment, affects the methodology and content of Christian theology. The study employs a comparative method by contrasting two conceptually distinct theological approaches: the constructive method represented by Gordon Kaufman and the revelation-centered method represented by Karl Barth. The research demonstrates that when the rational demands of the Enlightenment become the decisive criterion for theology, this leads to significant changes in the content of Christian faith: God is interpreted as a humanly constructed concept, revelation as a constructive work and reflection on human experience, Christ as a moral ideal, and theology as a branch of the humanities.
