Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Novērtējošā semantika ziņu tekstā mūsdienu mediju telpā” tiek analizēti leksiskie vērtējuma līdzekļi ziņu materiālos, kas saistīti ar politisko vai mediju personu nāvi. Šī pētijuma mērķis ir funkcionālās semantikas definīcija, ņemot vērā leksisko līdzekļu, kas piedalās vērtēšanas realizācijā, specifiku. Pētijums ir sadalīts divās daļās. Pirmajā daļā ir kopīgs raksturojums vērtēšanas kategorijai Otrajā daļā tiek izskatītas vērtēšanas funkcijas, izteikuma nozīmes modelēšanā. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta žanra specifikas ietekmei uz leksisko un semantisko vērtējošo līdzekļu izvēli, kā arī attiecībām starp tieši un netieši paustu vērtējumu. Uz veiktā pētijuma bāzes ir secināta žanra specifikas ietekme uz tipu, intensotāti un izmantoto vērtēšanas izpausmes līdzekļu funkciju. Pētijums var būt interesants lingvistiem, žurnālistiem un lileam lasītāju lokam, kas interesējas par šo tēmu.

The bachelor's thesis titled “Evaluative Semantics of News Text in the Modern Media Space” analyses lexical means of evaluation in news reports covering the deaths of political or media figures. The purpose of this study is to determine the functional semantics of evaluation, taking into account the specifics of lexical means involved in the implementation of evaluative meaning. The research is divided into two parts. The first part provides a general description of the evaluation category. In the second part the functions of evaluation in modulating the meaning of a statement are examined. Particular attention is given to analysing how genre-specific features influence the choice of lexical and semantic evaluative means, as well as the relationship between explicit and implicit expressions of evaluation. Based on the conducted research, the influence of genre specificity on the types, intensity and functions of the used means of expressing evaluation was established. The research may be of interest to linguists, journalists and a wide range of readers interested in this topic.
