Čūskas tēla izmantošana un interpretācija grupas "Skyforger" daiļradē

Abstract

Darbs analizē čūskas tēla interpretāciju latviešu metālmūzikas grupas Skyforger daiļradē, kura pamata problēma ir čūskas tēla duālā interpretācija un tās padziļināta skaidrojuma trūkums. Darba mērķis ir analizēt čūskas tēla dažādas interpretācijas Skyforger diskogrāfijā, salīdzinot tās ar vispārpieņemto čūskas simbolismu pasaules reliģijās un kultūrās, Latvijas kultūrā un Bībelē. Čūskas tēls grupas dziesmu vārdos balstās uz pēdējo 200 gadu radīto un nostiprināto čūskas tēla interpretāciju, kur kristīgais uzskats par čūsku Latvijas kultūrā ir pastāvējis sen, radot jaunu čūskas tēla simbolismu, kas norāda uz reliģijas sinkrētismu.

The Use and Interpretation of the Snake Motif in Skyforger's Creative Work examines the interpretation of the snake motif in the lyrics of Latvian metal band Skyforger. The main problem is the dual interpretation of the image of the snake in the lyrics and the lack of its in depth explanation. The aim is to analyse various meanings of the image of the snake in the band’s discography, comparing them with the snake symbolism in world religions and cultures, Latvian culture and the Bible. The image of the snake in the lyrics of the band's songs is based on the interpretation of the image of the snake created and strengthened over the last 200 years, where the Christian view of the snake has existed in Latvian culture for a long time, creating a new symbolism of the image of the snake, which indicates religious syncretism.
