Dzimumsocialitātes problemātika mūsdienu krievu un angļu young-adult fantāzijas žanrā.

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir veltīts dzimumsocialitātes problematikas izpētei mūsdienu krievu un angļu valodas jauniešu-pieaugušo (young-adult) fantāzijas literatūrā. Analīzei izvēlētie darbi - sieviešu autoru grāmatas, izdotas no 2015. līdz 2021. gadam - ļauj identificēt un salīdzināt dzimumsocialitātes lomu attēlojuma īpatnības un dzimumsocialitātes reprezentācijas paņēmienus šī virziena mūsdienu tekstos. Pētījuma centrā atrodas dzimumsocialitātes lomu attēlojums no stereotipizācijas un dzimumsocialitātes nevienlīdzības problemātikas skatpunkta. Izmantojot vairākas pētnieciskās metodes – žanra analīzi, salīdzinošo metodi un tekstu interpretāciju feministiskās kritikas gaismā – iespējams izsekot sieviešu un viriešu tēlu attīstību, to dinamiskajam pārmaiņām sižeta ietvaros, ka arī parādīt sociālo kustību (piemēram, feminismu) ietekmi uz jaunu sociokulturālo normu veidošanos. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka mūsdienu krievu un angļu valodas young-adult fantāzijas literatūra tiek veidota dažādu sociālkulturālo kontekstu ietekmē. Tas atspoguļojas gan autoru izvēlētajos tēlu tipos, gan tematikā. Šī maģistra darba secinājumi var būt noderīgi turpmākajos literaturzinātnes pētījumos šajā jomā.

The MA paper is devoted to the study of gender issues in contemporary Russian-language and English-language young adult fantasy. The material chosen for the analysis, i.e. works of female authors published between 2015 and 2021 - makes it possible to identify and compare the peculiarities of portrayal of gender role and the approaches to gender representation in modern texts of the chosen literary direction. The research focuses on the approaches to the representation of gender roles in terms of their stereotypicality and gender inequality issues. The use of several research methods, including genre analysis, comparative method and interpretation of texts in the context of feminist criticism, makes it possible to trace the development of female and male characters, to reveal the dynamics of their development within the plot, as well as to demonstrate the influence of social movements (feminism) on the formation of new socio-cultural norms. The results of the study show that contemporary Russian and English language young adult literature in the fantasy genre is created under the influence of different socio-cultural contexts. It is reflected in the authors' choice of character types as well as in the choice of themes. The conclusions of the MA paper can be useful for future literary studies in this direction.
