Kurzemes zemnieku tiesiskā un sociālā stāvokļa atspoguļojums laikrakstā “Latviešu Avīzes” (1822-1852)

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek aplūkots, kā laikraksts “Latviešu Avīzes” dokumentē zemnieku situāciju Kurzemes guberņā pēc dzimtbūšanas atcelšanas. Pētījuma mērķis ir, balstoties uz laikraksta “Latviešu Avīzes” regulārās sadaļas “Tiesas sludināšanas” pagasttiesu sludinājumiem laika posmā no 1822. līdz 1852. gadam, analizēt zemnieku tiesisko un sociālo stāvokli Kurzemes guberņā 19. gadsimta pirmajā pusē. Darba gaitā tiek aplūkotas īpašuma attiecības un zemnieku saimnieciskā atbildība, sociālie konflikti, kā arī tiesiskās uzraudzības un administratīvās kontroles mehānismi pār zemniekiem pēc dzimtbūšanas atcelšanas. Tāpat tiek izvērtēta laikraksta “Latviešu Avīzes” nozīme juridiskas un sociāli nozīmīgas informācijas apritē.

This bachelor’s thesis examines how the newspaper “Latviešu Avīzes” documented the situation of peasants in the Courland Governorate after the abolition of serfdom in 1817. The aim of the study is to analyze the legal and social status of peasants in the first half of the 19th century, based on parish court announcements published in the “Tiesas sludināšanas” (“Court Announcements”) regular section of “Latviešu Avīzes” from 1822 to 1852. The research explores property relations and peasants’ economic responsibilities, social conflicts, as well as mechanisms of legal supervision and administrative control over peasants following the end of serfdom. The role of the newspaper “Latviešu Avīzes” in the circulation of legal and socially significant information is also analyzed.
