Nacionālsociālisma uztvere un attēlojums avīzē “Rigasche Rundschau”, 1933.–1939.

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs analizē nacionālsociālisma uztveri un attēlojumu vācbaltiešu laikrakstā “Rigasche Rundschau” no 1933. līdz 1939. gadam. Pētījuma mērķis ir izprast, kā laikraksts reflektēja par Vācijā notiekošajiem politiskajiem procesiem un kā mainījās tā nostāja dažādos vēstures posmos. Darbā tiek izmantota satura, diskursa un kontekstuālā analīze, lai identificētu dominējošos naratīvus un to veidošanās faktorus. Pētījums parāda, ka “Rigasche Rundschau” attieksme pret nacionālsociālismu bija mainīga, atkarībā no Latvijas un Vācijas attiecībām, vācbaltiešu sabiedrības interesēm un starptautiskās situācijas. Rezultāti sniedz plašāku ieskatu vācbaltiešu preses lomā un tās pielāgošanās stratēģijās starpkaru perioda Latvijā.

This bachelor’s thesis analyzes the perception and representation of National Socialism in the Baltic German newspaper “Rigasche Rundschau” from 1933 to 1939. The study examines how the newspaper reflected political developments in Germany and how its stance evolved over time. The research employs content analysis, discourse analysis, and contextual analysis to identify dominant narratives and the factors influencing their formation. The findings reveal that “Rigasche Rundschau” attitude toward National Socialism was dynamic and shifted in response to Latvian-German relations, the interests of the Baltic German community, and the broader international context. The study provides a deeper understanding of the role of the Baltic German press and its adaptation strategies in interwar Latvia.
