Kultūru atšķirību izpēte un identitātes meklējumi caur Faīzes Guennas romānu ''Kiffe kiffe demain''

Abstract

Šis pētījums ir veltīts Faïza Guène romāna "Kiffe Kiffe demain" galveno varoņu kultūras atšķirību analīzei un identitātes meklējumiem. Šis pētījums izceļ koda maiņu un pašapliecināšanos. Teorētiskās daļas pamatā ir Edvarda Hola (1959) un Gudykunsta (1988) fundamentālie pētījumi, kas pievēršas starpkultūru komunikācijas jēdzienam, kā arī mūsdienu autoru (Žils, Tings-Tums) zinātniskajiem darbiem. Praktiskajā daļā izmantota Filiona (2005) metodiskā pieeja, kas akcentē kultūras un sociālo elementu lomu. Pašreizējā pētījuma mērķis ir apzināt kultūras atšķirības starp franču un arābu kultūras pārstāvjiem romānā, kā arī izpētīt galvenā varoņa kultūras identitāti. Autore izmanto sociolingvistisko analīzi un kritisko diskursa analīzi. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka galvenā varoņa kultūras identitāte ir balstīta uz Rietumu un Austrumu kultūras vērtībām.

The current study is devoted to the analysis of the cultural differences existing between the main characters of Faïza Guène's novel "Kiffe Kiffe demain" and the search for identity. This research highlights code switching and self-affirmation. The theoretical part is based on the fundamental research of Edward Hall (1959) and Gudykunst (1988), which focuses on the concept of intercultural communication, as well as on the scientific works of contemporary authors (Giles, Ting-Toomey). The practical part uses the methodological approach of Filion (2005), which emphasizes the role of cultural and social elements. The objective of the current study is to identify the cultural differences between the representatives of French and Arab culture in the novel, as well as to research the cultural identity of the main character. The author applies sociolinguistic analysis and critical discourse analysis. The results of the study show that the protagonist's cultural identity is built on the values ​​of Western and Eastern culture.
