Abstract
With modern technologies evolving, automatization of processes and problem-solving has evolved likewise. This evolution of algorithms brings not only advancements, but new legal and ethical challenges, specifically regarding how products and services are being priced and nowadays that being more often done by algorithms rather than humans themselves, which can cause breaches of competition law. Furthermore, the main objective of this thesis will be focused on EU competition law challenges connected to algorithms and collusion, leading to the conclusion that there is room for regulatory improvement and legislation needs to keep up to date with the ever-changing technological advancements for providing fair market conditions and compliance with EU competition law policy.
