This bachelor thesis titled “Evaluating the Effectiveness of Egypt’s Anti-Trafficking Laws in light of the Palermo Protocol” evaluates the compliance of Egyptian Law No. 64 of 2010 with the Palermo Protocol, an international initiative to combat human trafficking. International cooperation, victim protection, prosecution, and prevention laws will be compared to the Protocol's requirements. Egypt's legislation criminalises trafficking and establishes victim support frameworks, but it faces significant implementation challenges. Insufficient victim protection, inconsistent judicial interpretations, limited public awareness campaigns, and weak international cooperation hinder this framework. Egypt's Law No. 64 of 2010 is partially compliant with the Palermo Protocol, according to the research findings. However, significant reforms are required to achieve complete compliance with international standards. Augmented judicial training, refined victim identification systems, fortified preventative strategies, and increased international collaboration are among the recommendations for improvement.en_US
