Sieviešu jautājuma aizsākums Latvijas ideju vēsturē

Abstract

Šajā maģistra darbā 3 nodaļās un 8 apakšnodaļās apkopots pētījums sieviešu jautājuma aizsākuma izpētē Latvijas ideju vēstures laukā, kontekstualizējot gan dzimumdiferences izpausmes kultūrvēsturiskajos tekstos, gan 19. gadsimta un 20. gadsimta sākuma prozā, dramaturģijā, presē un publicistikā paustās sievietes patstāvības centienu idejas vēsturiskajā Latvijas teritorijā. Šī darba galvenais mērķis ir atainot sieviešu jautājuma diskursa pirmssākumus, aplūkot 19. gadsimtā aizsākto emancipācijas centienu praksi, ieskicēt priekšstatu aprises par tradicionālo un moderno sievieti, kā arī skatīt sievietes jauno situāciju un līdz ar to ar to sabiedrībā valdošās tendences un prettendences. Paralēli iepriekšminētajam, maģistra darbā tiek iestrādāts angļu literatūrzinātnieces Elaines Šovalteres (Elaine Showalter) sieviešu rakstītās literatūras vēstures iedalījums, kas kalpo par skatījuma veidu latviešu rakstnieču veidotās un feministikas diskursam būtisku nianšu piepildītās literatūras iespējamai sistematizācijai.

This research paper, consisting of 3 main parts and 8 subdivisions, encompasses an investigation of the beginnings of the question of women in the context of the research field of the history of ideas in Latvia. Thus this research contextualizes the manifestations of the gender differences in culturally historical texts with culturally significant literature from the turn of the 19th and 20th century (including fiction, press and journalistic literature and plays), which express women’s efforts of emancipation in the historical territory of Latvia. The main goal of this paper is to reveal the beginnings of the discourse of the question of women, to investigate the practical efforts of emancipation in the 19th century, as well as to outline the notions of the traditional and the modern woman, depicting the new situation of women – the tendencies and contra-tendencies of the society. In addition to the above mentioned, this paper also analyzes the division of the history of literature written by women introduced by an English literature theorist Elaine Showalter, which can serve as an instrument for the systematization of the literature written by Latvian female writers, rich with nuances significant for the discourse of feminism.
