Abstract

Darbs veltīts veco ļaužu aprūpes garīgajiem aspektiem. Tā gaitā iepazīstinu ar teologu, psihologu un gerontologu uzskatiem par vecumu un tā īpatnībām, cilvēka izaugsmi, un garīgās aprūpes pamatnostādnēm kā tādām, vēlāk iztirzājot īpatnības, kas garīgajam aprūpētājam jāņem vērā, strādājot ar gados veciem klientiem. Aplūkoju vecuma definīcijas, veco ļaužu psiholoģiskos tipus, vecuma psiholoģiskās problēmas un to iespējamos risinājumus no psiholoģiskā un teoloģiskā aspekta, kā arī cēloņus, kas vecos ļaudis bieži padara neapmierinātus ar dzīves noslēgumu un ieteikumus, kā šo neapmierinātību mazināt vai novērst. Vēl aplūkoju garīgās aprūpes vēsturi un nozīmi mūsdienās, garīgā aprūpētāja un baznīcas lomu un uzdevumus, vienlaikus pastiprinātu uzmanību pievēršot nevis garīgajai aprūpei šī vārda visplašākajā nozīmē, bet konkrēti attiecinot to tieši uz vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku garīgo aprūpi, viņu vajadzībām un vēlmēm.

SUMMARY This work is dedicated to the pastoral aspects of the care of the aging people. I’m introducing with theologian’s, psihologist’s and gereotologist’s views about aging and it’s features, person’s development and the main positions of pastoral care, as they are later analysing features which must be mentioned whi;le working with ageing clients. I was looking over definitions of age, psyhological types of ageing people, psychological problems of ageing and possible sollutions from theological and psychological point of view, also including the causes that often make aging people unsatisfied with the end of their lives and recomendations how to decrease or even eliminate this unsatisfaction. I was also looking over the history of pastoral care and it’s importance nowadays, the role and task of the pastoral counselor and the church, at the same time giving reinforced attention not to the pastoral care at this words widest meaning but specifically relating it to aging people’s pastoral counseling, their needs and desires.
