Kikosas Dievmātes ikonas izcelsme un godināšanas tradīcija

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ‘Kikosas Dievmātes ikonas izcelsme un godināšanas tradīcijas’ autore ir apkopojusi un analizējusi literatūru par populārāko Dievmātes ikonu Kikosas klosterī, Kiprā; tās izcelsmi, vēsturi un godināšanas tradīciju. Tāpat bakalaura darba autore ir veikusi ieskatu Kikosas Dievmātes ikonas grafiskā tēlojuma niansē. Bakalaura darbā autore izmantojusi Latvijā pieejamos un no Kikosas klostera atvestos literatūras avotus, izmantojusi informācijas meklēšanu internetā, kā arī izmantojusi personīgi Kikosas klosterī gūto informāciju. Informācijas nepietiekamība radījusi bakalaura darba autorei grūtības ar sīkāku informācijas apkopošanu, kas skar šī bakalaura darba pētāmo objektu - Kikosas Dievmātes ikonu. Pētījuma rezultātā izvirzītā tēze tika pierādīta un tika noskaidrots, ka Kikosas Dievmātes ikona, tās godināšanas un taumaturģiskās tradīcijas ir būtiska un neatņemama Kikosas klostera reliģiski kulturālās dzīves sastāvdaļa, kas atstājusi savu ietekmi arī ārpus Kipras. Bakalaura darbs veidots trijās daļās, no kurām pirmā apskata ikonu godināšanas teoloģisko pamatojumu atbilstoši VII Vispasaules Koncila mācībai, otrā daļa pievēršas Kikosas Dievmātes ikonas izcelsmes un Kikosas klostera vēstures noskaidrošanas, bet trešā daļa apkopo Kikosas Dievmātes ikonas godināšanas un taumaturģisko tradīciju pētījumu.

The author of the bachelor paper ‘The origin and the tradition of celebration of the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos’ has summorized and analysed the literature of the most famous icon of the Mother of God in the Monastery of Kykkos; the origin, the history and the tradition of celebration. The author of the bachelor paper has also made an insight into the graphical nuances of the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos. The author has used in her bachelor paper those sources of literature, that were available in Latvia, as well as the ones brought from the Monastery of Kykkos, she has also used the internet services and her own experience and knowledge which she gained in the Moanstery of Kykkos. The lack of information has caused difficulties summorizing the further details about the object of research – the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos. The advanced thesis of the research has been proven and was clarified that the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos, its tradition of celebration and taumaturgic tradition is very essential and integral part of the Monastery of Kykkos. The bachelor paper is made of three parts from which the first one views the theological statement of the icon’s veneration according to the 7th Holy Great Council, the second part focuses on the origin of the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos and the history of the Monastery of Kykkos and the third part summorizes the tradition of celebration and taumaturgic tradition of the icon of the Mother of God of Kykkos.
