Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma Laikmetīgā dievnama koncepts. Arhitektūras vēstījumi ir aktuāli mūsdienu Rīgas un Latvijas post sociālā un post modernajā laikmetā, kad dzīvojam kā sanāk, ēkas ceļam kur pagadās, un dievnamu arhitektūra vairs nav kvalitātes garants, kā tas ir bijis vēsturiski, kur varam redzēt dievnamus kā kultūras mantojuma spožāko sastāvdaļu. Sociālisma laiks Latvijā ir iecirtis pamatīgu robu arhitektūras tradīcijā un attīstībā, tādēļ šodien dievnamu arhitektūrā ir vērojami saraustīti un sasteigti meklējumi. Bakalaura darba galvenais mērķis ir glorificēt dievnamu arhitektūras svarīgumu un atgādināt, ka vairāk kā civilā arhitektūra tas ir saistīts ar iemiesotu un dzīvu eksistenciālu metaforu, un ka arhitektūra un teoloģija ir vienas lietas divas puses. Mērķis tika sasniegts, izveidojot laikmetīgā dievnama konceptu, kura arhitektūras vēstījumi tika apskatīti no teoloģiskā skatu punkta. Darba pirmajā daļā autors pievēršas laikmetīgās arhitektūras apskatei un tās nozīmei mūsdienu pasaulē, bet otrajā daļā dievnama arhitektūrai, apskatot to no teoloģiski neierastiem skatu punktiem, soli pa solim tiek salikts jauns dievnama arhitektūras koncepts. Darba teorētiskā daļa ir balstīta uz teologa un eksistenciālisma filosofa Paula Tilliha (Paul Tillich) tekstiem par arhitektūru un mākslu, arhitektūras teorētiķa Juhani Pallasmā (Juhani Pallasmaa) un Pītera Cumtora (Peter Zumthor) darbiem.

The subject of this Bachelor’s paper is The Concept of the Contemporary Church. The epistles of the architecture are topical for the post-social and the post-modern age of Latvia and today’s Riga when we are living as in earlier times building anywhere and the church architecture is not the warrantor of the quality as it used to be historically in which we are able to find the church as the most spectacular element of cultural heritage. The socialism in Latvia has notched a thorough gap in architecture’s tradition and dynamics and that is because a bitty and snap hunt is notable in church architecture today. The aim of the Bachelor’s paper is to glorify the meaning of the church architecture and to remind that more than civil architecture it is related to embodied and vivid existential metaphor. That architecture and theology are two visions of the same thing. The aim was attained forming concept of the contemporary church whose architectural epistles were analyzed form the theological point of view. The first part author dedicates to the contemporary architecture and to its meaning and spot in today’s world. The second part is focused on church architecture analyzing it from theologically unusual point of view and step by step a new concept of the church architecture is created. The theoretical part of the Bachelor’s paper is based on the texts on architecture and art of the theologian and philosopher of existentialism – Paul Tillich and on literature of architecture theoreticians – Juhani Pallasmaa and Peter Zumthor.
