Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir par Viljama Bleika teoloģisko konceptu un bērna tēla atspoguļojuma teoloģiskajiem aspektiem, kas ir atrodami viņa dzejā. Tas ir vērsts interdisciplinārā griezumā, kur saskaras tādas jomas kā teoloģija, literārā māksla un daļēji arī socioloģija un vēsture. Pamatā kā avots tiek izmantots poēmu cikls Bezvainības un pieredzes dziesmas. Mērķis ir atklāt Viljama Bleika teoloģisko konceptu attiecībā pret bērnu, tāpēc darbā izvirzītie uzdevumi ir vērsti uz V. Bleika teoloģijas izvērtēšanu un viņa pielietoto simbolu analīzi.Strukturāli darbs ir dalīts divās nodaļās, no kurām pirmā ir izteikti teorijas rakstura, kuras pamatuzdevums ir izprast V. Bleika teoloģisko konceptu. Savukārt otra nodaļa nodarbojas ar padziļinātu avotpētniecību, un analizē dzeju, atklājot pašus teoloģiskos aspektus. Nozīmīgākie darba secinājumi ir, ka V. Bleikam bērns kalpo kā līdzeklis, lai parādītu savu bezvainības izpratnes konceptu, ka bērns savā neapzinātajā bezvainībā ir paļāvīgas uzticības pilns un viņa ticība Dievam ir vispatiesākā, jo to nav samaitājis racionālais saprāts un likumi. Bērns tiek salīdzināts ar jēru, kas ir Jēzus simbols. Bērns ir eņģelis, kas ir cilvēciskā gara vispatiesākā substance.

"The Theological Aspects of the Depiction of Children In the Poetry of William Blake" This is a study of the theological concepts to be found in the depiction of children in the poetry of William Blake. The work is an interdisciplinary attempt to find connections between theology, literary art, sociology and history. As the main focus it turns to the poem cycle The Songs of Innocence and of Experience. The work aims to reveal William Blake’s concept of a child and its theological implications. It attempts to explain the theology and symbolism in his poetry. The paper is divided in two parts. The first deals with theory, and attempts to understand the W. Blake’s theological concepts. The second turns to his sources and offers an analysis of Blake's poems. The paper concludes that in W. Blake’s poetry the child is a concept of innocence, trust, and a simple, child-like belief in God, which represents the true belief, as yet unspoilt by human reason and law. The child is compared to the lamb, which a well-known symbol for Jesus. The child is an angel, and an angel is the truest aspect of the human soul
