Pāvila runa Atēnās – piemērs evaņģēlija pasludināšanai pagāniem

Abstract

Pētījums ir par Apustuļu darbu 17:16- 34. Darba tēma: Pāvila runa Atēnās- piemērs evaņģēlija pasludināšanai pagāniem. Tēze: Lūkas vēstījums par Pāvila runu atēniešiem ietver divus atšķirīgus principus, saskarsmes punktu meklēšanu un konfrontāciju ar Dieva atklāsmi. Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot principus, kurus Lūkas pielieto, lai pasludinātu evaņģēlija vēsti atēniešiem. Pētījumā ir noskaidrots, ka fragmenta lielāko daļu aizņem Pāvila runa Areopagā. Pāvila runa ir Lūkas uzrakstīts literārais sacerējums. Tajā klausītāji varēja sadzirdēt sev zināmas idejas, piemēram, par Dievu kā pasaules veidotāju- pirmkustinātāju. Atēniešiem pazīstamās domas rada pamatu, uz kura Lūkas ceļ tiltu, lai vestu uz konfrontāciju ar dievišķo atklāsmi. Lūkas caur saskarsmes punktiem ar pazīstamām domām ved pie jaunas atziņas, kuras būtību izsaka evaņģēlija vēsts par Jēzus augšāmcelšanos. A theme of research: Paul’s speech in Athens- pattern of proclaiming gospel to pagans. Thesis: Luke’s narrative about Paul’s speech to Athenians involves two different principles- looking for the points of agreement and confrotation with the revelation of God. The aim of this research is to find out whether and how Luke uses theese two principles to proclaim the mesage of the gospel to Greeks. The research showed that the main part of the passage is Paul’s speech in Areopagus. This speech is literary composition written by Luke. The audience was able to hear some familiar ideas for themselves from this speech, for example, about the God as the demiurge of the world in the notion of divine causation. Luke leads through the points of agreement with the familiar idea to new insights, which expresses the essence the gospel’s message about Jesus' resurrection.
