Konstantīna Lielā reliģiskās politikas iespaids uz Nīkajas ticības apliecības ģenēzi

Abstract

Darbā „Konstantīna Lielā reliģiskās politikas iespaids uz Nīkajas ticības apliecības ģenēzi” tiek apskatīta Konstantīna reliģiskās vienotības politikas atstātais iespaids uz Nīkajas koncila norisēm – ariāņu kontraversiju. Nīkajas koncila gaitā imperatora Konstantīna forsētā vienotības politika, kas balstīta uz pagānisma mentalitāti, veicināja strauju ticības apliecības pieņemšanu, bez plašākām diskusijas iespējām, kā rezultātā pēc koncila slēgšanas atklājās ticības apliecības interpretācijas iespējas. Darba mērķis ir aplūkot Konstantīna reliģiskās politikas atstāto iespaidu uz Nīkajas ticības apliecības veidošanos, meklēt viņa rīcības motīvus un izvērtēt tās sekas. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām, kas pakāpeniski iepazīstina ar Konstantīna politikas iespējamajiem cēloņiem un no tā izrietošajām sekām Baznīcā un Nīkajas koncila norisēs. Darbā veidošanā izmantoti gan tā laika avoti, gan pētījumi saistībā ar Baznīcas vēsturi un Konstantīna Lielā dzīvi, rīcību un nozīmi kristietībā. The work "The Impact of Religious Policy of Costantine the Great Upon the Genesis of Nicene Creed" describes the influence of religious cohesion policy of Costantine the Great left upon the Council of Nicea activities- the Arian controversy. During the Council of Nicaea the emperor Constantine`s forced cohesion policy, based on pagan mentality, contributed to the rapid adoption of Confession, without any broader opportunities for discussion. As a result of such rapid policy after the closure of the Council, it turned out that there's a chance to misinterpret the Nicene Creed. The aim of the work is to look at the impact left by Constantine`s religious policy on the formation of the Nicene Creed, search for his motives and evaluate the consequences. The work consists of three parts that gradually introduce to the possible causes of the policy of Constantine and its consequences concerning the Church and the Council of Nicaea. The literature sources of those times and the research in the history of the Church and the life and deeds of Constantine the Great and his role in Christianity are used to write the work.
