Bēgļu laikmeta (1915-1920) tēlojums latviešu prozā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Bēgļu laikmeta (1915-1920) tēlojums latviešu prozā” analīzei un interpretācijai izvēlēti šādi prozas darbi – J.Jaunsudrabiņa „Nāves deja” „Kaukāzs”, „Gredzens”, „Vasara”, A.Upīša „Pērkona pievārtē”, E.Virzas „Zaļā Zemgale”, „Izpostītā Latvija”, K.Ieviņa „Guntis un Daila”, P.Rozīša „Granātu ziedi”, V.Damberga „Gaitniecības ceļi”. Šo rakstnieku daiļradē spēcīgus impulsus devušas tieši bēgļu gaitas un to refleksija. Minētajos darbos līdztekus psiholoģisko pārdzīvojumu daudzveidīgam tēlojumam personāžu likteņos ietverts arī plašs vēsturisks materiāls, kas kopumā sniedz mākslinieciski ietilpīgu informāciju par bēgļu laika notikumiem, atklājot tēloto cilvēku nostaļģiju, apātiju, izmisumu, sāpes, cerības, nepiederības sajūtu, nespēju atrast stimulu pilnvērtīgai dzīvei un arī perspektīvas nākotnei. Minēto rakstnieku darbos atainots bēgļu gaitu sākums, dodoties no mājām uz svešo, nezināmo telpu, rādīti konkrēti personu un ģimeņu likteņi Krievijā, Kaukāzā, Rēvelē, Vidzemē, kā arī raksturotas atgriešanās ainas.

Bachelor paper „The Reflection of the Refugee Period (1915-1920) in Latvian Prose” deals with the analyses and interpretation of the following pieces of prose: J. Jaunsudrabiņš „The Dance of Death”, „The Caucasus”, „The Ring”, „Summer”, A. Upītis „Before Thunderstorm”, E.Virza „The Green Zemgale ”, „The Ruined Latvia”, K. Ieviņš „Guntis and Daila”, P.Rozītis „The Blossom of Pomegranate”, V. Dambergs „The Roads of Roaming”. The refugee experiences and years of roaming have become a powerful impulse for the creativity of the authors as the prose is deaply interweaved by painful reflections, remembrances, providing material for the depiction of characters, their destinies and psychological suffering. Alongside with the literary values the prose contains vast historical material thus artistically giving rich information about the events during refugee period, revealing the nostalgic longings, apathy, despair, pain, hopefullness, feelings of alienation, inability to find stimulus for fulfilment in life or any perspective for future. The above mentioned works depict the beginning of the period, people leaving home for the strange far away countries, destinies of real families and personalities in Russia, the Caucasus, Revel, Vidzeme, and the scenes of returning home.
