Abstract
Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Piltenes izloksne”. Tajā pētīta Piltenes izloksne, kura pieder Kurzemes lībiskā dialekta dziļajām izloksnēm. Par piltenieku runu līdz šim publicēts tikai īss apraksts 1940. gada „Filologu biedrības rakstos”. Mūsdienīgu pētījumu par izloksni nav.
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir aprakstīt mūsdienu Piltenes izloksni, tās atšķirības no latviešu literārās valodas un citām tāmnieku izloksnēm. Piltenieku runas ieraksti veikti 2008. gadā.
Pielikumā pievienoti izloksnes teksti fonētiskā transkripcijā un administratīvā iedalījuma kartes.

The title of the Bachelor Thesis is „Vernacular of Piltene”. The thesis discusses the vernacular of Piltene which is one of the deep subdialects belonging to the Kurzeme Livonian dialect. Until now the vernacular of Piltene has been described only in a short article published by The Philologist Association (Filologu biedrība), in 1940. There are no contemporary studies on the vernacular. The goal of the Bachelor Thesis is to describe the modern vernacular of Piltene and its differences from the standard Latvian and the other Tāmnieki subdialects. Records of a Piltene resident’s speech were made in 2008. The appendix contains the phonetic transcription of dialectal speeches and the maps of administrative division.
