Eifēmismi un disfēmismi plašsaziņas līdzekļos

Abstract

Šajā bakalaura darbā ir apskatīti eifēmismi un disfēmismi, to izplatība dažādos plašsaziņas līdzekļos. Šim nolūkam tika pētīti laikraksti, žurnāli, interneta lappuses, televīzijas un radio pārraides, tādējādi tika fiksēti eifēmismu un disfēmismu piemēri. Pētījums par eifēmismiem un disfēmismiem tika veikts tāpēc, ka tie ir diezgan maz pētīti, bez tam eifēmismu izplatība nākotnē var kļūt par nopietnu problēmu, jo drīz vien (ja eifēmismi tik plaši turpinās attīstīties), visi ļaunie darbi un problēmas tiks slēptas, lietojot eifēmismus. Darbam ir trīs nodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā ir aprakstīta plašsaziņas līdzekļu valoda, autore ir balstījusies uz Jāņa Sila, Maijas Kūles un Jāņa Rozenberga pētījumiem. Otrajā nodaļā ir aprakstīti eifēmismi, savukārt trešajā nodaļā – disfēmismi. Pētījumus par eifēmismiem un disfēmismiem totalitāro režīmu laikā ir veicis Andrejs Veisbergs un Viktors Klemperers, savukārt apakšnodaļas par eifēmismiem un disfēmismiem šodien ir autores patstāvīgs pētījums. Darbā ir secīgi parādīta eifēmismu attīstība no senatnes līdz mūsdienām.

This bachelor paper is a study on euphemisms and dysphemisms and their usage in different mass media types. For this reason, newspapers, magazines, internet sites TV and radio broadcasts were studied, thus, recording the examples of euphemisms and dysphemisms. The research on euphemisms and dysphemisms was carried out, since there has been little study about them. Besides, their usage in the future can become a serious problem, since if the speed of their spread grows, all bad deeds and problems may soon be concealed, using euphemisms. The paper consists of tkree parts. In the first part language in mass media is described, and the author has based her research on Jānis Sils’, Maija Kūle’s and Jānis Rozenberg’s studies. Un the second part euphemisms are described, buti n the third part – dysphemisms. A study on euphemisms and dysphemisms during totalitarian regimes has been carried out by Andrejs Veisbergs and Viktors Klemperers, but subchapters about euphemisms and dysphemisms are the author’s own research. In the paper, the development of euphemisms and dysphemisms is shown from the ancient times till nowadays.
