Abstract

Darbā „Telpas interpretācija latviešu teātrī (2003 – 2007). Galvenās tendences” pētītas telpas izmantošanas iespējas mūsdienu teātrī. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek nodefinēts jēdziens, kas ir telpa, kādas ir tās funkcijas un nozīme teātra izrādes veidošanā. Otrajā nodaļā tiek izsekots informācijai, kad aizsākās eksperimenti ar telpu Rietumeiropas teātros, kā arī tuvāk aplūkotas mūsdienu spožāko režisoru (P.Bruka, A.Mnuškinas, P.Šteina) izrādes, kurās ir netradicionāls telpas izmantojums. Turpmākajās nodaļās notiek pievēršanās Latvijas teātrim, tiek aplūkotas tās 20.gs. 70.-80. gadu latviešu teātros iestudētās izrādes, kurās vērojami jauni formas meklējumi, kā arī jaunākās latviešu izrādes, konkrētāk, A. Hermaņa un G. Poliščukas iestudējumi, kuros netradicionāli tiek izmantota telpa, notiek jaunas formas un estētikas meklējumi.

The given paper “The Interpretation of Space in Latvian Theatre (2003 – 2007). Main Tendencies” investigates the utilization of space in contemporary theatre. Chapter 1 defines the conception of space, its functions and meaning in the creation of the performance. Chapter 2 gives the information about the first experiments with space in Western European theatres and examines performances of present-day most remarkable theatre directors (P.Brook, A.Mnouchkine, P.Stein) with untraditional usage of space. Further chapters deal with Latvian theatre, with the performances of 70-ties and 80-ties of the 20th century, where searching for new forms can be observed, as well as latest Latvian performances, in particular by A.Hermanis and G.Polishchuka, with untraditional utilization of space, searching for new forms and new aesthetics.
