Svešvārdi laikrakstā „Diena” un to substitūcijas iespējas

Abstract

Leksika ir tā valodas daļa, kas vistiešāk pakļauta citu valodu ietekmei. Tā kā mūsdienās latviešu valodā vērojama tendence plaši aizgūt un lietot svešas cilmes leksēmas, bakalaura darbā „Svešvārdi laikrakstā „Diena” un to substitūcijas iespējas” analizēti aizguvumi, klasificējot tos pēc cilmes, lietojuma plašuma un, kas ir darba novitāte, – asimilācijas aizguvējvalodā, un aprakstītas to latviskošanas iespējas, izšķirot valodas sistēmai nepieciešamus, vēlamus un nevēlamus aizguvumus. Pētnieciskā darba teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta termina svešvārds problemātika, skaidroti izplatītākie leksikas aizgūšanas motīvi un mūsdienu tendences leksikas izvēlē publicistikā, dots ieskats par domāšanas nozīmi nominācijas procesā, kā arī aplūkota attieksme pret svešvārdiem latviešu literārās valodas vēsturē.

Lexicon is the part of a language which is mostly subjected to the influence of foreign languages. As nowadays a tendency to borrow and use lexemes of foreign origin can be observed, in the bachelor paper “Foreign Words in the Newspaper „Diena” and their Feasibility of Substitution” the author have analyzed loanwords, classified by origin, breadth of usage and, the innovation of the paper, assimilations in the borrowing language and described its Latvianizing possibilities, separating unwanted and advisable, necessary borrowings. In the theoretical part of the research work the problems of the word “svešvārds” are described, common motives of lexicon borrowing and modern tendencies in the choice of vocabulary in journalism are explained, insight into the importance of thinking in the nominating process is given as well as attitude against the use of foreign words in the history of Latvian literal language is showed.
