Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Viktors Eglītis un Latvijas Universitāte” ir aplūkots rakstnieka – dekadences tēva un pedagoga – Viktora Eglīša dzīves gājums, jaunā cilvēka tapšana par rakstnieku un pedagogu. Īpašu uzmanību pievēršot Latvijas Universitātē pavadītajiem darba gadiem, kurus Viktors Eglītis aprakstījis savā romānā „Domājošā Rīga” un ar šo dzīves posmu saistītajām refleksijām daiļradē. Bakalaura darba pirmajā daļā tiek aplūkoti Viktora Eglīša bērnības un studiju gadu notikumi, kuru ietekmē viņš ir kļuvis par vienu no ievērojamākajiem 20. gs. sākuma rakstniekiem un pedagogiem. Nākamajā nodaļā tiek aplūkots laika posms, kad Viktors Eglītis lasa lekcijas par latviešu literatūras vēsturi Latvijas Universitātē. Trešajā daļā aplūkota Viktora Eglīša daiļrade pēc aiziešanas no darba Latvijas Universitātē.

In the Bachelor work " Viktors Eglitis and University of Latvia" is researched the course of life of the writer - the father of decadence and lecturer - Viktors Eglitis and as the young men became a writer and a lecturer. Particular attention was paid to those years, which Viktors Eglitis spent in the University of Latvia and had written about them in his novel „Reflective Riga”, as well as the reflections in his creative work about this period of his life. In the first part of the Bachelor work is researched what happend in the writer’s childhood and years of study and how those events influenced him to become one of the greatest writer and lecturer in the beginning of the 20th century. In the next part is researched the period when Viktors Eglitis was a lecturer in The history of Latvian literature in the University of Latvia. In the third part is researched the creative work of Viktors Eglitis after he quit the job in the University of Latvia.
