Jāņu Prinču, tēva un dēla, dzeja laikmeta latviešu literatūras kontekstā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā analizēts pirmais lībiešu autoru Jāņa Prinča un viņa dēla Jāņa sacerētais dzejas krājums “Jūrnieku svētas dziesmas un lūgšanas” (1845). Tas ir otrais iespiestais oriģināldzejas krājums latviešu valodā. Krājumā apkopota garīgā dzeja un lūgšanas par lībiešu zvejniekiem aktuālām tēmām. Darbā sniegts ieskats autoru biogrāfijās un tuvāk aplūkotas ierosmes, kas mudinājušas autorus rakstīt. Bakalaura darbā analizēti dzejas motīvi, saturs un forma. Dzejas analīze ir veikta, salīdzinot Prinču dzeju ar latviešu lirikas tendencēm 19. gadsimta sākumā. Bakalaura darbā sniegts ieskats arī lībiešu kultūras vēsturē 19. gadsimta sākumā.

The bachelor paper contains the detailed analysis of the first Liv poet Jānis Princis and his son’s poetry collection “The Holy Songs and Prayers of Sailors” (1845). This poetry is the second printed authentic poetry collection in the Latvian language. The collection compiles the spiritual poems and prayers for Liv fishermen and their topical issues. The Bachelor paper gives the analysis of author’s life and creative work. The author of this thesis examines the reasons and motives of composing this kind of poetry. In additional, the analysis of content and form of the poetry collection is present in the paper. To analyse the poetry of Jāņi Prinči, the author of thesis compares it with the tendencies of Latvian lyrics at the beginning of 19th century. Finally the thesis paper gives insight into the Liv culture at the start of 19th century.
