Vidusskolēnu mācību pašefektivitātes un orientācijas uz nākotni saistība ar akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem

Abstract

Šā pētījuma mērķis bija atklāt sakarību starp pašefektivitāti un nākotnes laika perspektīvas trīs daļām, un to saistību ar skolēnu akadēmiskajiem rezultātiem. Tika aptaujāti 96 pēdējas klases vidusskolēni no sešām dažādām klasēm, divām dažādām skolām. Dzimuma sadalījums - 49 sievietes un 47 vīrieši vecumā no 18 – 19 gadiem. Pētījumā tika izmantota Bērnu savas pašefektivitātes uztveres aptauja (Children’s Perceived Self_Efficacy Scale, Bandura, 2006), akadēmiskās pašefektivitātes skala. Un šā bakalaura darba ietvaros tiek daļēji adaptēta „Dzīves gājuma perspektīvas aptauja” (Prospective Life Course Questionnaire, Seginer, Nurmi, Poole, & Shoyer, 1999). Pēc pētījuma rezultātiem tiek secināts, ka, pirmkārt, skolēnu akadēmiskie sasniegumi ir saistīti ar skolēnu pašefektivitāti, viņu pārliecību, ka viņi var mācīties, līdz ar to jo skolēnam ir augstākas atzīmes, jo lielāka ir viņa pārliecība par savu mācīšanās efektektiviāti. Otrkārt, skolēnu akadēmiskie sasniegumi ir saistīti ar nākotnes laika perspektīvu. Skolēni, kuri nākotnes augstāko izglītību uztver kā vērtību, par to domā un kuriem ir pietiekoši skaidrs izglītības iegūšanas plāns, vidusskolā iegūst labākas atzīmes. Treškārt, pašefektivitāte un nākotnes laika perspektīva ir savā starpā saistīti psiholoģiskie lielumi, līdz ar to, tie ir arī nozīmīgi aspekti, kas ir saistīti ar veiksmīgu mācību procesa funkcionēšanu un atbilstošu rezultātu sasniegšanu. Šie pētījuma secinājumi ir būtiski, jo parāda, cik svarīgi skolēnos ir attīstīt pārliecību par savām spējām mācīties. Būtu nepieciešams skolēnos ieaudzināt to, ka skola ir vērtīga, jāveicina patīkamas emociju gaidas. Jāpalīdz jauniešiem jau laicīgi izveidot skaidrāku plānu par to, kas ir jāpaveic, lai iekļūtu augstskolā. Ja tiek veicinātas šīs lietas, tad ir lielāka iespēja, ka skolēni iegūs augstākus akadēmiskos sasniegumus.

The goal of this research was to find relevance between self-efficiency and future time perspective`s three parts, and their connection with students’ academic results. 96 last class secondary-school students from six different classes in two schools were surveyed. There were 49 female and 47 male respondents 18-19 years old. ”Children’s Perceived Self Efficacy Scale (Bandura, 2006)” was used in the research, academic self-efficacy scale. In this bachelor work „Prospective Life Course Questionnaire, (Seginer, Nurmi, Poole, & Shoyer, 1999)” was partially adapted. After analyzing the results following conclusions can be made, first, pupil academic achievements are related with students’ self-efficiency, their confidence that they are able to learn, wherewith the higher grades a pupil gets, the higher is his or her belief about own learning efficiency. Second, students’ academic achievements are related with future time perspective. Students, who consider future higher education as a value, think about it and have a clear education obtaining plan, get better grades in secondary-school. Third, self-efficiency and future time perspective are related to each other. Wherewith they are important aspects, connected with successful learning process functioning and achieving better results. These are important conclusions, because they show how important it is to develop students’ confidence for their learning abilities. It is needed to teach pupil that school is valuable, and it can create good emotions. It is needed to help the youth to duly make a clearer plan about what has to be done to get into the higher school. If these things are motivated then there is a better chance that students will get higher academic achievements.
