dc.description.abstract | Labklājība jau ilgu laiku ir viena no visplašāk pētītājām jomām psiholoģijā. Zinātnieki ir ieinteresēti atrast atbildes uz jautājumiem, kādā veidā psiholoģiskā labklājība saistās ar sociālām un fiziskām aktivitātēm veciem cilvēkiem, vai to biežums ietekmē labklājību ? Slimības bieži vien izraisa ierobežojumus, kas kopumā ietekmē indivīda dzīves apmierinātību. Tāpēc saikne starp fizioloģisko veselību, sociālām aktivitātēm un psiholoģisko labklājību ir acīmredzama. Subjektīva vitalitāte ir labklājības indikators un tas korelē ne tikai ar psiholoģiskas labklājības skalam, tādam, kā autonomija un pozitīvas attiecības ar citiem, bet arī ar fiziskiem simptomiem (R. Ryan & K. Frederic, 1997).
Kopumā pētījuma piedalījās 60 respondenti ( 20 vīrieši un 40 sievietes), vecumā no 65 līdz 82. Pētījumā tika izmantota Psiholoģiskās labklājības aptauja ( Scales of Psychalogical Well-Being, Ryff C, 1989).

dc.description.abstract | Well-being has been one of the most wide researched subject in psychology for many years. Researchers are interested to find answers for questions, like in which way psychological well-being related with social and physical activities for a old people, and if frequency of it affect to well-being. Disease is often cause restrictions that influence an individual`s overall satisfaction with life. Therefore, it is a clear link between physiological health and psychological well-being. Subjective vitality is a well-being indicator and correlates not only with psychological well-being scale, such as autonomy or positive relationships with others, but also with physiological symptoms (R. Ryan & K. Frederic, 1997).
60 people took part in this research (20 man and 40 women ). Aged from 65 till 82. The level of psychological well-being defined by the Scales of Psychological Well- Being (Ryff, 1989).
