Darba nosaukums: Matemātisko priekšstatu veidošana pedagoģiskajā procesā
pirmsskolā.
Darba autore: Aida Andersone
Darba vadītāja: Dr. Paed., asoc. prof. Ruta Ināra Kaņepēja
Darba saturs: 98. lpp., 7 zīmējumi, 1 shēma, 1 tabula, 7 ciklogrammas, 5 diagrammas,
6 grafiki, 14 pielikumi.
Atslēgas vārdi: pedagoģiskais process, personības attīstība, individualitāte, matemātiskie
priekšstati, mijiedarbība, attīstošā vide, rotaļnodarbība, dzīves darbība,
integrācija.
Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt, vai pirmsskolas vecuma bērni visus šajā vecumā programmā
paredzētos matemātiskos priekšstatus var apgūt caur citiem darbības
veidiem.
Title of the paper: Forming of mathematical concepts during the pedogogical process
at pre- school.
Author of the paper: Aida Andersone
Superviser of the paper: Dr. Paed., PPF asoc. prof. Ruta Ināra Kaņepēja
Contents of the paper: 98 pages, 7 pictures, 1 scheme, 1 table, 7 cycloramas, 5 charts,
6 graphs, and the work have 14 attachments.
Key words: pedogogical process, development of personality, individuality,
mathematical concepts, interaction, developing environment,
lessons with games, every day activities, integration.
Goal of the research: to research if children at the age of pre- school are able to acquire
all the mathematical concepts provided for in the programme by
doing other kinds of activities.
Subject of the research: pedogogical process at pre- school.
Hypothesis of the research: if mathematical concepts of children at the age of pre- school are formed by help of every day activities as well as games played during lessons of fine art, language and others the child will be able to understand mathematical regularities in compliance with the standards stated in the educational programmes.
Theoretical part of the paper is based on analysis of pedogogical and psychological literature concerning peculiarities of development of 5- 7 year- old children’s personality (Ž. Piažē, Ē. Ēriksons, Ļ. Vigotskis), modern organisation forms of pedogogical process at pre- school (E. Černova, R. I. Kaņepēja, I. Maslo, A. Špona), various possible forms of activity games for children (S. Laizāne, R. Ukstiņa, K. Dēķens, A. Sorokina un J. Baturina), mathematical concepts which 5- 7 year- old children would have to acquire during the pedogogical process at pre- school, how they would have to be mastered gradually (R. Ukstiņa, L. S. Metļina, Ž. Piažē, Daņilova, Rihtermanis, Mihailova u. c.).
Providing examples, the practical part of the paper discloses how and in what every day situations while studying language, going in for fine art or being engaged in group centers of interests to form mathematical concepts for oldest children of pre- school in respect of numbers and counting, various sizes, forms, orientation in plane, space and time.
Research carried out proves that 6- 7 year- old children who have acquired mathematical concepts of orientation in time through every day activities, games- during other lessons, have done it on the level corresponding to that of their age. The same fact is proved also by a questionnaires given to the parents and asking for information how they appraise their children’s knowledge of time and where, to their opinion, has the child acquired these concepts.
Conclusions drawn as a result of practical research affirmed the hypothesis that mathematical concepts of pre- school children can be formed in every day situations, playing games and during other lessons.
Base of the research: 35 children of pre- school groups of pre- school educational
establishment No. 213 and 21 their parents.
