Datorprogrammas izmantošana kā angļu valodas apguves motivācijas paaugstināšanas līdzeklis sākumskolā.

Abstract

Diplomdarbs „Datorprogrammu izmantošana kā angļu valodas apguves motivācijas paaugstināšanas līdzeklis sākumskolā” sastāv no ievada, 3 nodaļām, nobeiguma, izmantotās literatūras saraksta un 6 pielikumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā izklāstīts datoru izmantošanas mācību procesā teorētiskais pamatojums. Balstoties uz literatūras analīzi, un tieši uz M. Detlava, E.G. Azimova, E.S. Polata un citu autoru darbiem, atklāti datoru izmantošanas didaktiskie principi un metodiskie aspekti angļu valodas apguvē. Pirmajā nodaļā ir arī izanalizēta literatūra, kas saistīta ar motivācijas rašanos un attīstīšanu, apgūstot angļu valodu (autori A.N. Ļeontjevs, S.L. Rubinšteins, I.A. Zimņaja, A. Maslous, H. Hekhauzens), izdarīti secinājumi par motivācijas paaugstināšanas veidiem angļu valodas apguves procesā un aplūkoti jautājumi par datorapmācību kā potenciālu motivācijas paaugstināšanas līdzekli. Otrajā nodaļā doti datorprogrammu izmantošanas piemēri angļu valodas mācībām – leksikas apguvei, runas, rakstu valodas, gramatikas un klausīšanās prasmju apguvei. Šīs nodaļas materiāls balstīts uz diplomdarba autores darba pieredzi. Bez tam šajā nodaļā pievērsta uzmanība datorprogrammu izmantošanas pedagoģiskajiem aspektiem un aplūkotas dažas problēmas, kas rodas, izmantojot datorus angļu valodas apguvē. Trešajā nodaļā izklāstīti praktiskā pētījuma materiāli, aplūkoti jautājumi, kā datorprogrammu izmantošana ietekmē skolēnu motivācijas paaugstināšanu angļu valodas apguves procesā. Šajā nodaļā ir sniegtas ziņas par skolēnu un skolotāju aptaujas rezultātiem angļu valodas apguves motivācijas paaugstināšanas jautājumos, aprakstīti stundu fragmenti, kur tiek izmantotas datorprogrammas. Salīdzinot darba sākumposma un noslēguma datus, ir izdarīts secinājums par pozitīvu datorprogrammu izmantošanas ietekmi uz angļu valodas apguves motivācijas paaugstināšanu. Pielikumā ir skolotāju un skolēnu anketas, kā arī datorprogrammu fragmenti, ko autore ir izmantojusi savā praktiskajā darbā.

The topic of this diploma is “The use of the computer programs as the way of rising motivation at the English language study in primary school”. This diploma consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusions, the list of the used literature as well as six annexes.

In the first chapter theoretical foundations of the computer usage in the learning process are considered. On the basis of the analysis of the literature, namely works of M. Detlav, E. Azimov, E. Polat and other authors, didactic principles and methodical aspects of the computer use are presented. Further in the first chapter the literature concerning occurrence and development of motivation is analyzed (A. Leontjev, S. Rubinshtein, I. Zimnyaya, A. Maslow, H. Heckhausen). Also in the first chapter conclusions on the ways of increasing the motivation at studying are drawn and the question on computer training as potential of motivation increase is considered.

In the second chapter several examples of usage of the computer programs in the process of learning English are presented. These examples show how computer programs can be used for development of lexicon, colloquial speech, development of grammar, writing and audio trainings. The material of the given chapter is presented on the basis of the author work experience. Besides in the given chapter attention is paid to pedagogical aspects of the computer programs use, and some problems in the studying process are examined.

In the third chapter materials from the practical research about the influence of computer programs usage on pupils’ motivation increase are presented. In the given chapter the data is provided from interrogation of teachers and pupils concerning motivation to study the English language. There are also presented fragments of the lessons with the use of the computer programs. Comparing data from the initial and the final stages of the diploma it is drawn a conclusion about positive influence on the motivation increase at the English language study by using the computer programs.

In the annexes are presented questionnaires for teachers and pupils, and fragments of the computer programs used by the author in the practical work.
