Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir „Runas prasmes attīstīšanas uzdevumi valodas apguves motivācijai angļu valodas stundās 9. klasē”. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas, izmantotās literatūras saraksta un pielikuma. Runas prasmju attīstīšana ir viens no sarežģītākajiem procesiem angļu valodas pasniegšanā, jo tas sevī ietver visus valodas mācīšanas komponentus - fonētiku, leksiku, gramatiku. Runas prasmes nav attīstāmas teorētiski, tās veidojas tikai praktiski vingrinoties. Šeit būtiska nozīme ir motivācijai vai vēlmei runāt, kas savukārt izriet no tā cik saistoša ir tēma un cik brīva atmosfēra valda klasē. No tā vai pedagogs ir pratis atlasīt efektīvākās mācību metodes, spējis radoši organizēt klasi darbam ir lielā mērā atkarīgs kā skolēns spēs komunicēties svešvalodā. Diplomdarba mērķis ir apzināt, analizēt un praksē izpētīt tēmas un mācību metodes, kas visefektīvāk veicinātu skolēnu motivāciju angļu valodas runas prasmju attīstībai. Darba teorētiskajā daļā izskatīti svarīgākie aspekti, kuri raksturo un ietekmē mācību motivācijas veidošanos, apkopoti psiholoģiskās un pedagoģiskās literatūras atzinumi par pusaudžu vecuma psiholoģiskajām īpatnībām, kā arī pētītas valodas funkcijas un runas prasmes attīstību veicinošie faktori. Darba praktiskajā daļā pētītas konkrētas tēmas un metodes, kas veicina runas prasmju attīstību un ir skolēniem saistošas, tādējādi cenšoties maksimāli rosināt viņu motivāciju mācīties. Pielikumā ir daži autores izstrādāti materiāli, kuri izmantoti klasē pētījuma laikā.

The theme of the diploma paper is: “Development of Speaking Skills in the English Class on the Basis of Increasing Student’s Motivation to Learn”. The target group is form 9. The paper consists of theoretical and practical part, appendix and the list of reference. The development of speaking skills is one of the major and most complicated issues in English language teaching, as it includes all the components of the language: phonetic, lexis and grammar. It is not possible to develop the speaking skills theoretically, so a relaxed and creative atmosphere and the methods the teacher has selected for work play a crucial role in implementing the speaking tasks in the class. The aim of the paper is to study, analyze and practically try out the themes and the teaching methods that are the most efficient and motivating for the adolescent students to encourage them to communicate in English. The theoretical part of the paper gives the basic theoretical aspects of forming motivation, summarizes the psycho-physiological issues of the teenage period, and also describes the functions and role of the language. The practical part of the work offers various methods for the development of the speaking skills and the practical experience in the class is shared. In the appendix one can find a variety of materials for practical work in the class, elaborated by the author of the paper.
