Diplomdarba pētījuma mērķis: pārliecināties par kopīgās mācīšanās lomu kritiskās domāšanas veicināšanā mācību stundās jaunākajās klasēs.
Šī darba tēmas aktualitāte zināmā mērā saistās ar informācijas sprādzienu. Informācijas rašanās sabiedriskajā jomā risinās nepieredzētā ātrumā. Tiek lēsts, ka pēc desmit gadiem 100% pašreizējo zināšanu kopuma vairs sastādīs tikai 10% no tajā laikā pieejamās zināšanu bāzes. Zinot pieejamās informācijas milzīgo apjomu, būtu aplam iedomāties, ka skolā iespējams iemācīt pietiekami daudz no tā visa.
The research purpose of the diploma paper is to verify the role of collective learning for promotion of the critical thinking during the lessons in the junior forms.
The urgency of the subject of this paper to a certain extent links with an information explosion. The unprecedented pace of the information emergence in the public is currently observed. It is considered, that in the ten years time 100% of the aggregate given knowledge already will make for only 10% of the available knowledge base at that moment in time. Knowing the enormous volume of the accessible information, it would be a mistaken opinion, that it is possible to cover sufficient portion at schools.
Utilizing a variety of research methods (questionnaire, observation, assessment etc.) the author proves in this research paper, that by organizing collective learning, that promotes also the critical thinking, during lessons in the junior forms, the social skills of children are also cultivated. The author presents also her proposals on how to further explore the given subject.
The diploma paper comprises the theoretical part, research part, conclusion part, 16 tables, 4 diagrams and 5 appendixes. At the end of paper there are abstracts in English and Latvian. The diploma paper contains 75 pages.
