Pirmskolas izglītības iestāžu attīstība Rīgas pilsētā.

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „Pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu attīstība Rīgas pilsētā”.

Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām, kurās atspoguļota izvēlētās tēmas aktualitāte Latvijas pirmsskolas izglītības sistēmā. Pirmsskolas izglītība ir ļoti svarīgs posms katra cilvēka dzīvē, jo tas sagatavo bērnu svarīgam dzīves posmam – skolai. Šajā jautājumā ir ieinteresēti visi – vecāki, pats bērns, pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu darbinieki, sākumskolas skolotāji, visa sabiedrība kopumā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā autore raksturo izglītības jēdziena būtību, pirmsskolas izglītības mērķus un to īstenošanas metodes, kā arī pirmsskolas izglītības vēsturi. Pēc tam tiek apskatīti faktori, kas ietekmē pirmsskolas izglītības attīstību: vadības kompetence, pedagogu kompetence, pedagoģiskā procesa kvalitāte, kā arī valsts un pašvaldības nozīme pirmsskolas izglītības nodrošināšanā. Autore ir izvirzījusi pētījuma jautājumu: Vai pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu darbības nodrošinājumā vairāk dominē dažādi traucējošie vai veicinošie faktori? Darba praktiskajā daļā autore ir apkopojusi, izpētījusi un analizējusi statistikas datus par Rīgas pašvaldības pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu skaitu, bērnu un grupu skaitu, pedagogiem, finansējumu, kā arī par pirmsskolas grupām Rīgas pašvaldības skolās un interešu izglītības iestādēs. Darbā apkopotas arī pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu vadītāju aizpildītās anketas, analizēti šo anketu rezultāti. Darbā ir 28 attēli, 3 tabulas un 1 pielikums.

The theme of the Master’s work is “The development of preschool educational establishments in Riga city”. The work consists of four parts where the importance of the chosen theme in Latvia’s educational system is depicted. The preschool education is a very significant stage in the life of every person as it trains the child for school. Everybody is interested in it - parents, the child itself, the staff of the preschool educational establishments, elementary school teachers as well as the whole society. In the theoretical part of the work the author characterizes the essence of the concept of education, the history of preschool education, the goals of preschool education and the methods of their implementation. The factors that influence the development of preschool education have been analyzed further. They are: the competence of administration, the teachers` competence, the quality of pedagogical process and the significance of the state and municipalities for maintaining the preschool education. The author has chosen the question for investigation: Are the hampering or promoting factors dominating in the work of preschool educational establishments? In the practical part of the work the author has investigated and analyzed the statistical data about the number of Riga municipality preschool educational establishments, the number of groups and children in them, teachers, funding and the data about preschool groups in municipality schools and out of class activity establishments. All data have been systematized and analyzed. The questionnaires of preschool educational heads have been compiled and the results analyzed. The work comprises 28 pictures, 3 tables and 1 appendix.
