Informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju izmantošana starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences veidošanā angļu valodas stundās 10. klasē

Abstract

Valodai ir liela nozīme cilvēka personības attīstībā, pašizpausmē un starpkultūru sadarbības veicināšanā. Mācoties svešvalodu, rodas iespēja attīstīt savas valodu prasmes, apzināties, ka valoda ir vērtība un daļa no tautas kultūras mantojuma, kā arī uzzņemties atbildību par tās saglabāšanu multikulturālā sabiedrībā. Angļu valoda ir kļuvusi par svarīgu līdzekli, lai attīstītu personību un turpinātu izglītību. Šī diplomdarba tēma ir informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju (IKT) izmantošanas iespējas starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences (SKK) attīstīšanai angļu valodas nodarbībās 10. klasē. Darba autore ir izpētījusi dažādus viedokļus par starpkultūru komunikatīvās kompetences jēdzienu svešvalodu apguves procesā un iespējām, ko šajā jomā var sniegt moderno informāciju un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju izmantošana. Darbā izmantotas Līra (Lier), Fantini, Birama( Byram), Korbeta(Corbett) un Birnē (Byrne) teorētiskās atziņas. Analizējot aktīvās tiešsaistes modeļus, ko piedāvā Salmona (Salmon), Levins (Levihn) un Normans (Norman), autore ir izstrādājusi un aprobējusi angļu valodas stundu kompleksu, kura pamatā ir skolā un mājās pieejamo informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju izmantošana mācību procesā. Pētījuma rezultātā var secināt, ka moderno IKT izmantošana angļu valodas mācīšanās procesā ir efektīva, jo nodrošina skolēnus ar papildu starpkultūru mācību materiālu, kas nav pietiekami plašs mācību grāmatās. IKT tuvina angļu valodas apguves procesu reālās dzīves situācijām, piemēram, komunikācija internetā un internetā pieejamās informācijas izmantošana izglītībā.Tās nodrošina papildu iespējas mācīšanās procesa individualizēšanā, pielāgojoties katra skolēna mācīšanās stilam un tempam. Tiešsaistes iespēju izmantošana nodrošina, ka skolēni var piedalīties mācību procesā arī neatrodoties klasē, ja tas ir nepieciešams. Galvenie atslēgas vārdi darbā ir starpkultūru komunikatīvā kompetence, tiešsaistes aktivitātes un informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģijas.

Language plays an essential role in the development of people’s personality, self-expression and in the acquisition and understanding the culture of nation. Studying the foreign language, people have the possibility to develop their language skills and to realize that language is of the value and is the part of nation’s cultural heritage, and to become aware of the responsibility for maintaining it within a multicultural society. English language has become an important means to develop the personality and to continue the education. The theme of this Diploma Paper is usage of information and communication technologies (ICT) for developing intercultural communicative competence (ICC) in English lessons in form 10. The author of the Paper has explored different opinions about the issue of ICC and facilities provided through ICT as well. The theoretical background has been made on cognitions of Lier, Fantini, Byram, Corbett and Byrne. Analysing the models of active online learning offered by Salmon, Levihn and Norman the author has worked out an approbated model of English language lesson complex based on usage of different ICT provided in regular school class room and at home.

During the approbation of the lesson model it turned out that modern ICT can benefit a lot in English learning and teaching process because it can provide students with additional intercultural learning material which is missing in printed school books. ICT approximate English studies to situations of real life, like communication online, searching for information and self-education. It provides additional options for individual learning style and pace, ensures that students can take part in the learning process even not being in the classroom.

Intercultural communicative competence, e-tivities and information and communication technologies are the key words of the Paper.
