Stresa līmeņa un intimitātes saistība bez darba palikušiem un strādājošajiem vīriešiem

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāv atšķirības saistībā starp stresu un intimitāti vīriešiem bezdarbniekiem un strādājošiem vīriešiem. Tiek izvirzīti trīs pētījuma jautājumi: 1) kā stresa līmenis saistīts ar intimitāti bez darba palikušiem vīriešiem; 2) kā stresa līmenis saistīts ar intimitāti strādājošiem vīriešiem un noskaidrot 3) vai pastāv atšķirības saistībā starp stresu un intimitāti vīriešiem, kuri ir zaudējuši darbu un vīriešiem, kuri ir strādājoši. Pētāmajās izlasēs ir 30 bezdarbnieki un 30 strādājoši vīrieši vecumā no 25 līdz 30 gadiem. Vīrieši ir partnerattiecībās, sākot no viena līdz septiņiem gadiem. Bezdarbnieku statusā no viena līdz trim gadiem. Pētījumi liecina, ka vīriešiem, esot bez darba ilgāk par sešiem mēnešiem, rodas augstāks stresa līmenis. Instrumentārijs: 1)Sajustā stresa skala (Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Cohen, Kamarck, & Mermelstein, 1983; Cohen, & Williamson, G.M, 1988.). 2) Intīmo attiecību novērtējuma aptauja (Personal Assessment of Intimacy Relationships (PAIR) : Schaefer M. T., Olson D. H., 1981). Pētījuma rezultāti uzrāda, ka pastāv saistība starp stresa līmeni un intimitāti bezdarbniekiem, strādājošo sajustā stresa un intimitātes novērtējumā nav konstatēta saistība. Atšķirības starp bezdarbnieku un strādājošo vīriešu intīmo attiecību un sajustā stresa novērtējuma aptaujas rezultātiem nav būtiskas, tomēr minimālas atšķirības pastāv. Bezdarbniekiem uzrādījās augstāks stresa un intimitātes novērtējums, strādājošajiem vīriešiem zemāks stresa un intimitātes novērtējums. Intimitātes apakšskalu novērtējumā būtiskas atšķirības nav konstatētas.

The objective of the research was to identify, whether or not there exist any differences in the correlation level of stress and intimacy between unemployed and working males. There are three tasks set for this research: 1) the manner of the level of stress affecting the intimacy of men who have lost job; 2) how the level of stress relates to the intimacy of employed males and identify 3) whether there are any differences in the correlation level of stress and intimacy between men who have lost job and men who are working. The selected group of research contained 30 unemployed and 30 employed males within the age bracket from 25 to 30 years of age. These men have partners and the duration of their relationship is from one to seven years. The unemployment status lasting from one to three years. The researches indicated that men, when jobless for more than six months, experience higher level of stress. The set of tools: 1) Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Cohen, Kamarck, & Mermelstein, 1983; Cohen, & Williamson, G.M, 1988.). 2) Survey of Personal Assessment of Intimacy Relationships (PAIR): Schaefer M. T., Olson D. H., 1981). The results of the research indicate that there is a correlation between the stress level and intimacy with the unemployed, the evaluation of stress and intimacy of the employed did not reveal a relation. The differences in the survey results of intimate relations and the perceived stress between the unemployed and employed men are not significant, but minimal differences can be spotted though. The evaluation of stress and intimacy with the unemployed was higher, and lower with working men. Major differences in intimacy subdivision assessment were not identified.
