Mātes kometences izjūta un trauksme- strādājosām un nestrādājošām 1,5- 3 gadus vecu bērnu mātēm.

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba ietvaros tika pētītas mātes kompetences izjūtas un trauksmes atšķirības strādājošām un nestrādājošām 1,5- 3 gadus vecu bērnu mātēm, saistības starp mātes kompetences izjūtu un trauksmi abām māšu grupām, kā arī saistība starp to, cik ilgi māte strādā pēc bērna kopšanas atvaļinājuma, kompetences izjūtu un trauksmi. Pētījuma dalībnieces ir 61 Latvijā dzīvojošas sievietes. 30 - strādājošas mātes un 31 – nestrādājošas mātes, kuru bērni ir vecumā no 1, 5 – 3 gadiem. Vidējais māšu vecums ir M = 31,89 gadi, SD = 4,37. Vidējais bērna vecuma ir 25,70 mēneši, SD = 5,91. 58,73 % bērnu ir meitenes, . Strādājošām mātēm vidējais strādāšanas ilgums pēc dekrēta ir M = 13,97 mēneši, SD = 7,52. Pētījumā tika izmantota demogrāfisko datu anketa, Spīlbergera trauksmes aptauja (State- Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Spielberger, 1983) un Vecāku kompetences izjūtas skala (Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, Johnston & Mash, 1989). Tika secināts, ka vecāku kompetences izjūta ir augstāka strādājošām nekā nestrādājošām 1,5-3 gadus vecu bērnu mātēm, savukārt, strādājošu un nestrādājošu māšu trauksmes līmenī atšķirības nepastāv. Saistības starp trauksmi un vecāku kompetences izjūtu, kā arī strādāšanas ilgumu un abiem minētiem mainīgiem netika novērotas. Iegūtie secinājumi norāda uz to, ka darbinieka un mātes lomas apvienošana sievietei ir labvēlīga – tā ir saistīta ar vienmērīgāku pienākumu sadalījumu ģimenē, kas mazina šķiršanās trauksmi un veicina mātes augstāku vecāka pašefektivitāti un apmierinātību ar vecāka lomu.

Differences in mother sense of competence and anxiety in employed and unemployed 1,5-3 year old children mothers, associations between mother sense of competence and anxiety in both mother groups, as well as association between the time that mother has been employed after maternity leave, sense of competence and anxiety were studied in this bachelor paper. Participants of the study are 61 women, who reside in Latvia. 30 are working mothers and 31 non-working mothers, whose children are aged 1,5-3 years. The mean age of mothers is M = 31,89 gadi, SD = 4,37. The mean age of children is 25,70 months, SD = 5,91. 58,73 % are girls. The mean working duration after maternity leave for working mothers is M = 13,97 months, SD = 7,52. Demographic data questionnaire, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI, Spielberger, 1983), Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (Johnston & Mash, 1989) were used in the study. It was concluded that parenting sence of competence is higher in employed than in uneployed mothers of 1,5-3 year old children. Differences in level of anxiety between employed an uneployed mothers do not exist. Associations between anxiety and sense of competence, as well as working duration and both mentioned variables were not observed. Obtained conclusions show that combining employee and mother roles is beneficial for woman – it is associated with more uniform sharing of responsibilities in family, which reduces the fear of separation and promotes higher parenting self-efficacy and satisfaction with parent role in mothers.
