Nevienam no respondentiem nebija bērnu. 69 no respondentiem atzīmēja, ka ir kristieši.
Pētījumā tika izmantotas 4 metodes. 3 no tām mēra pāra attiecību kvalitāti - Diādes pielāgošanās skalas (DAS) (Dyadic Adjustment Scale, Spanier, 1976); Autonomijas un tuvības aptauja (ARI) (Schaefer & Edgerton, 2000) un „Trīspusējās mīlestības teorijas skala” (TTLS) („Triangular Theory of Love Scale”, Sternberg, 1986), savukārt ceturtā aptauja - Reliģiozitātes Indeksa aptauja (RI) (Piedmont, 2001, 2004) – mēra cilvēka reliģiozitātes pakāpi.
Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīga sakarība starp pāra attiecību kvalitāti un reliģiozitātes pakāpi. Apkopojot rezultātus, statistiski nozīmīgas sakarības parādījās starp vairākiem attiecību kvalitātes komponentiem un reliģiozitātes pakāpi. Skalās intimitāte, kaisle, uzticēšanās, tuvība-atsvešināšanās, saskaņa, apmierinātība ar partnerattiecībām un kopējā attiecību kvalitāte - savstarpējās pielāgošanās līmenis statistiski nozīmīgi korelēja ar reliģiozitātes pakāpi. Study was to determine whether there is a statistically significant correlation between the quality of couple relationship and of the degree of religiousness. Overall, the study included 99 respondents - 59 women and 40 men. Respondents were involved in the couple's relationship and lived together with their partners from 1-6 years. None of the respondents had children. 69 of the respondents noted that they are Christians.
The study used four methods. Three of them measured relationship quality for pairs - Dyadic Adjustment Scale, Spanier, 1976, Autonomy and Relatedness Inventory, Schaefer & Edgerton, 2000 and Triangular Theory of Love Scale, Sternberg, 1986), while the fourth poll - poll Religiosity Index (RI) (Piedmont, 2001, 2004) - measured religiousness degree.
Study results show that there is a statistically significant relation between the couple relationship quality and degree of religiousness. Summarizing the results, statistically significant correlations emerged between the various components of relationship quality and degree of religiousness. In scales, intimacy, passion, commitment, intimacy, alienation, harmony, satisfaction with the partnership and the overall quality of the relationship - the mutual adaptation level - statistically significantly correlated with the degree of religiousness.
