Paranormālo pārliecību, nākotnes paredzēšanas un laika perspektīvas saistības ar subjektīvo labklājību.

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā paranormālas pārliecības, nākotnes paredzēšana un laika perspektīva ir saistītas ar subjektīvo labklājību. Pētījumā tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka orientācija uz nākotni ir pozitīvi saistīta ar subjektīvo labklājību, kā arī uzdots jautājums “kā paranormālas pārliecības, nākotnes paredzēšana un laika perspektīva ir saistītas ar subjektīvo labklājību?” Pētījumā piedalījās 50 respondenti vecumā no 18-30 gadiem, no kuriem 13 bija vīrieši un 37 — sievietes. Tika izmantotas 2 adaptētas aptaujas: “Laika perspektīvas aptauja” (Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, ZTPI, Zimbardo, 1999; adaptēja A. Koļesovs, 2004) un “Apmierinātības ar dzīvi aptauja” (Satisfaction with Life Scales, Diener, 1985; adaptēja Maslovska, Voitkāne, Miezīte, & Raščevska, 2005). Pētījuma gaitā tika adaptētas 2 aptaujas: “Pārstrādātā paranormālu pārliecību aptauja” (Revised- Paranormal Belief Scale, R-PBS, Tobacyk, 1988) un “Nākotnes notikumu paredzēšanas aptauja” (Prediction of Future Events Scale, PFES, Tobacyk, Nagot, & Mitchell, 1989). Iegūtie rezultāti apstiprināja hipotēzi, ka orientācija uz nākotni ir pozitīvi saistīta ar subjektīvo labklājību. Atbildot uz pētījuma jautājumu, kā galvenos secinājumus var minēt subjektīvās labklājības pozitīvo saistību ar tradicionālām reliģiskām pārliecībām, ticību spirituālismam un paranormāliem fenomeniem, bet negatīvo saistību ar tādām laika perspektīvas dimensijām kā negatīva pagātne un tagadnes fatālisms. Regresiju analīzes rezultāti parādīja, ka būtiski subjektīvās labklājības prognozētāji ir ticība spirituālismam, orientācija uz nākotni un negatīva pagātne, kurai ir izteikti negatīva ietekme. The purpose of the research was to investigate how paranormal beliefs, the prediction of future events and the time perspective were related to the subjective well-being. The proposed hypothesis was that the future time perspective is positively related to the subjective well-being. The proposed research question was how paranormal beliefs, the prediction of future events and the time perspective are related to the subjective well-being? 50 people participated and were surveyed during the research: 13 male and 37 female. The age group was 18-30. Two adapted inventories were used: Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, ZTPI (Zimbardo, 1999; adapted by A. Koļesovs, 2004), and Satisfaction with Life Scales (Diener, 1985; adapted by Maslovska, Voitkāne, Miezīte, & Raščevska, 2005). Two inventories were adapted in the present research: Revised Paranormal Belief Scale, R-PBS (Tobacyk, 1988), and Prediction of Future Events Scale, PFES (Tobacyk, Nagot, & Mitchell, 1989). The results confirmed the hypothesis that the future time perspective was positively related to the subjective well-being. The main conclusions of this research indicated that the subjective well-being is positively related to traditional religious beliefs, spiritualism, and belief in paranormal phenomena, but is negatively related to the past-negative and the present-fatalistic time perspective. The results shown by the regression analysis indicated that the belief in spiritualism, future orientation and the past-negative time perspective were significant predictors of the subjective well-being and that the past-negative time perspective had a strong negative impact.
