Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka dotajā studentu izlasē nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas sakarības starp kreativitāti un sa The purpose of this research is to make study on creativity and sensation seeking in young adults. Because this research was done with the goal to obtain the bachelor degree in psychology, the size of the sample was only 75 persons. Sample consisted of students of age from 18 till 23 years.
People answered the version of the Sensation Seeking Scale modified at MSU* and passed the creativity test Complete Figures, which is a part of Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, adapted to be usable as a stand-alone test. Sensation Seeking Scale was modified in 1980-ies by group leaded by Vladimir Petrovsky, in process of adaptation. "Due to the nature of the nation"** (Kononova 2000), DIS scale of this test was replaced by UA scale that measures the so-called "non-adaptive difficulties seeking". The meaning of this is explained by the Petrovsky's theory of non-adaptivity.
The results obtained in the research show that there is no statistically significant correlation between creativity and two
