Narcisisma saistība ar pašnovērtējumu.

Abstract

Pētījuma mēķis ir noskaidrot narcisisma saistību ar pašvērtējumu. Pētījuma respondentu skaits – 60 cilvēki (30 sievietes, 30vīrieši). Vecuma ierobežojums – no 20 līdz 30 gadi. Pašvērtējuma līmeņa noteikšanai tika izmantota Rozenberga pašnovērtējuma aptauja („Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale”, Rosenberg, 1965), narcisisma noteikšanai tik izmantota Narcistiskas personības aptauja (Raskin & Terry, 1988). Vīriešu narcisisma un pašvērtējuma rādītāji uzrādīja statistiski nozīmīgu korelāciju, tāpat kā sieviešu narcisisma un pašvērtējuma rādītāji uzrādīja statistiski nozīmīgu korelāciju. Tika noskaidrots, ka jo augstāki ir narcisisma rādītāji, jo zemāks ir pašvērtējuma līmenis. Tika arī noskaidrots, ka sievietes uzrāda statistiski nozīmīgi augstākus rezultātus narcisismā, nekā vīrieši.

The aim of the research is to find out connection of narcissism with self-esteem. Number of respondents – 60 people (30 women, 30 men). Age limit – from 20 to 30 years. In order to determine the level of self-esteem the self-esteem survey of Rozenbergs was used („Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale”, Rosenberg, 1965), for determination of narcissism a survey of narcissistic personality was used (Raskin & Terry, 1988). The results of narcissism and self-esteem of men showed a statistically significant correlation, results of narcissism and self-esteem of women also showed a statistically significant correlation. It was concluded that the higher are the indicators of narcissism, the lower is the level of self-esteem. It was also concluded that women show higher statistically significant results in narcissism than men.
