"Iespējamo es" un laika perspektīves saistība ar agresiju 15 gadus veciem pusaudžiem

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, pirmkārt, vai pastāv saistība starp laika perspektīvu un agresiju 15 gadus veciem pusaudžiem, otrkārt, vai pastāv saistība starp agresivitāti un bažām kļūt agresīvam 15 gadus veciem pusaudžiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki ir 80 Latvijā dzīvojoši skolnieki, gan sievietes, gan vīrieši, 15-17 gadus veci pusaudži. Respondentu vidējais vecums ir M = 16,10, SD = 0,71. 43,75% ir vīrieši. Pētījumā tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas: 1) Agresijas aptauja (The Aggression Questionnaire, Buss & Perry, 1992), 2) Modificēta cerību un bažu aptauja (Hopes and Fears Questionnaire, H&FQ, Nurmi, Poole, & Seginer, 1992), 3) Zimbardo laika perspektīvas aptauja (Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, ZTPI, Zimbardo & Boyd, 1999). Apkopojot šī bakalaura darba rezultātus, tika secināts, ka pastāv saistības starp agresiju un bažām kļūt agresīvam un laika perspektīvu. Agresija un bažas kļūt agresīvam ir saistītas negatīvi. Agresija ir pozitīvi saistīta ar dažām laika perspektīvas dimensijām – negatīvo pagātni, tagadnes fatālismu un tagadnes hedonismu. Šie atklājumi norāda uz to, ka bailes kļūt agresīvam aktualizēšana pusaudžu vecumā ir saistīta ar mazāk agresīvu uzvedību; respektīvi, pusaudzim raksturīga pozitīvāka attieksme pret agresiju, kas rodas dažādu nelābvelīgu apstākļu dēļ (nelabvēlīga vide vai zema sociālā kopetence, kas neļauj veidot pozitīvas attiecības ar apkārtējiem) iespējams mudina pusaudzi rīkoties agresīvāk, īpaši tas attiecas uz fiziskām agresijas izpausmēm. Nelabvēlīgi apstākļi var veicināt agresiju pusaudžiem arī tādu laika perspektīvas dimensiju dēļ kā negatīva pagātne un tagadnes fatālisms.

The purpose of this bachelor paper was to clarify, firstly, if there is an association between time perspective and aggression in the population of 15 years old adolescents, secondly, if there is an association between aggression and fear to become aggressive in this population. The sample of this study are 80 students, who live in Latvia, both female and male, 15-17 years old. The mean age of respondents is M = 16,10, SD = 0,71. 43,75% are male. There were three instruments used in this study: 1) The Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perry, 1992), 2) Modified Hopes and Fears Questionnaire (H&FQ, Nurmi, Poole, & Seginer, 1992), 3) Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, (ZTPI, Zimbardo & Boyd, 1999). Summarizing the results of the bachelor paper, ir was concluded that there is an association between aggression and fear to become aggressive and time perspective. Aggression and fear to become aggressive are associated negatively. Aggresion and time perspective separate dimensions (negative past, present fatalism and present hedonism) are associated positively. These findings show that actualizing the fear to become aggressive in adolescence is associated with less aggressive behavior; respectively, positive attitude towards aggression, which is attributed to an adolescent because of different unfavorable circumstances (unfavorable environment of low social competence, which forbids to form positive relations with other people), motivates an adolescent to act more aggressively, especially it concerns physical aggression. Unfavorable circumstances contribute to aggression in adolescents also through such time perspective factors ar negative past and present fatalism.
