Stāsti sākumskolas skolēnu rakstītprasmes attīstībai angļu valodas stundās

Abstract

Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt kā stāsti var tikt izmantoti kā metodisks paņēmiens sākumskolas vecuma bērnu rakstītprasmes attīstīšanai angļu valodas stundās. Diplomdarba autore izpētīja attiecīgus literatūras avotus un veica atsevišķa gadījuma pētījumu Aizkraukles Pagasta sākumskolas 4.klasē. Pētījumā izmantotās datu vākšanas metodes bija: intervija ar 4.klases angļu valodas skolotāju; novērojuma lapas, lai pierakstītu skolēnu atbildes un atsauksmes par uzdevumiem, kā arī uzdevumi, lai noskaidrotu kā skolēni ir apguvuši ar stāstu saistīto vārdu krājumu un gramatiku, un vai spēj tos pielietot rakstu darbos. Skolēnu darbu un veikums uz stāstu balstītajās stundās parādīja, ka skolēni ar entuziasmu iesaistījās visās aktivitātēs un, ka sagatavošanās aktivitātes bija iedrošinājušas skolēnus radošai izpausmei rakstveidā.

The Diploma Paper was written in order to explore how storytelling activities prior to writing can contribute to developing writing skills of young learners in English lessons. The author of the Paper explored the relevant literature and conducted a case study in Aizkraukle Village Primary School's 4th form. Data collection methods used were: interview with English teacher of 4th form; checklist to note students' reflections about tasks, observation in order to see how students have learnt vocabulary and grammar items and how they can use these items in their writing. The analysis of students' works and performance during story-based lessons showed that students were engaged in the story-based activities and the scaffolding done prior to writing had prepared students for writing their stories and had encouraged them to express themselves creatively in written form.
