Skolotāja profesionālās kompetences raksturojums

Abstract

Ikvienā skolā būtu jāstrādā skolotājiem, kuri ir sagatavoti pedagoģiskajai darbībai, ieguvuši atbilstošas zināšanas, izrāda pienācīgu attieksmi un izpratni – jābūt kompetentiem savā profesijā. Kāda ir reālā situācija vispārizglītojošā skolā? Vai ikviens skolotājs ir kompetents? Pētījuma mērķis bija teorētiski un empīriski izzināt skolotāja profesionālās kompetences būtību un tās pilnveides iespējas. Skolotājs māca ne tikai to, ko viņš zina, bet arī parāda savas zināšanas praktiski darbībā, parāda, kāds viņš ir kā personība, kāda attieksme tam ir pret izvēlēto profesiju. Skolotāja profesionālā kompetence ir zināšanas, kuras spēj pielietot un izmantot praktiski un attieksme, kas parāda, cik nozīmīga ir izvēlētā profesija. Pētījuma teorētiskā daļa atklāj skolotāja profesionālās kompetences būtību, tiek minētas profesionālās kompetences pilnveides iespējas, profesionālās kompetences nozīmīgākās pazīmes. Pētījuma empīriskajā daļā tika pārbaudīta hipotēze. Tika izpētīta skolotāju profesionālā kompetence vispārizglītojošā skolā vidusskolas klasēs. Skolotāja profesionālā kompetence ir veiksmīgas karjeras būtisks priekšnosacījums, tāpēc ļoti svarīgi ir prast vērtēt savu pedagoģisko darbību paškritiski, lai ar katru dienu to spētu pilnveidot un analizēt! Pētījumā tika izmantotas šādas pētīšanas metodes: avotu un literatūras izpēte un analīze un datu vākšanas metodes – anketēšana un SVID analīze.

In every school there would have to work teachers who are prepared for pedagogical activity, who have obtained appropriate knowledge, who demonstrante proper attitude and understanding – they have to be competent in their profession. What is the real situation in a comprehensive school? Is every teacher competent? The purpose of the research was to find out theoretically and empirically the essence of a teacher’s professional competence and the possibilities of its perfection. Teacher teaches not only what he knows but as well demonstrates his knowledge practically in activity, demonstrates what is he as a personality, what attitude he has towards the chosen profession. Teacher’s professional competence is knowledge which he can use practically and the attitude the demonstrates how significant is the chosen profession. The theoretical part of the research discloses the essence of a teacher’s professional competence, there are mentioned the perfection possibilities of the professional competence, the most significant features of the professional competence. In the empirical part of the research there was verified the hypothesis. There was studied the teacher’s professional competence in the comprehensive school in the forms of Secondary School. A teacher’s professional competence is an essential precondition of a successful career therefore it is very important to be able to evaluate one’s pedagogical activity with self – criticism so that one would be able to perfect and analyse it every day! In the research there were used such methods of research: methods of study and analysis of sources and literature and of date collecting – questionnaire making and the SWOT analysis.
