Personības attīstības ideja pedagoģiskajā domā Latvijā (1918-1940)

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Personības attīstības ideja pedagoģiskajā domā Latvijā (1918-1940)” ir pētīti jautājumi, kas balstās uz J. A. Studenta, P. Dāles, P. Jureviča, A. Dauges un E. Pētersona idejām personības būtības atklāsmē un to atspoguļojumu viņu radošajos darbos.

Izpētītie vēsturiskie avoti un literatūra atklāj attiecīgā laikmeta galvenos pedagoģiskos strāvojumus un to ietekmi Latvijas pirmās brīvvalsts laika izglītībā un audzināšanā ar akcentu uz personības attīstību.

Maģistra darbam ir četras nodaļas. 1.-3. nodaļā ir apkopotas un analizētas pedagogu, psihologu domas un atziņas, kas saistītas ar personības attīstību, audzināšanas mērķiem un uzdevumiem, kuri sekmē personības attīstību, kā arī atklātas vēsturiskās saknes, kas pamudināja tā laika pedagogus pievērsties personības attīstības idejai.

Darba 4. nodaļu veido pētījums par personības attīstības ideju P. Jureviča, P. Dāles, J. A. Studenta, A. Dauges un E. Pētersona darbos: audzināšanas un personības attīstības mijsakarība; skolotāja un ģimenes loma personības veidošanās procesā; izglītības, kultūras un garīgo vērtību līdzsvarotības nepieciešamība personības attīstībā.

Questions based on the ideas of personal revelation and its reflection in the creative works of J. A. Students, P. Dāle, P. Jurevičs, A. Dauge, and E. Pētersons are explored in the Master thesis “The idea of personal development in the pedagogical thinking in Latvia (1918-1940)”.

The explored historical sources and literature reveal the main pedagogical tendencies of the respective period and their influence on education emphasizing personal development during the time of the first unoccupied Latvia.

The Master thesis has four chapters. Chapters 1-3 summarize and analyze thoughts and cognitions of present-day pedagogues and psychologists. They are related to personal development, goals and tasks of education that contribute to personal development and reveal historical roots that encouraged pedagogues to focus on the idea of personal development.

Chapter 4 reveals research about the personal development in the pedagogical thinking of P. Jurevičs, P. Dāle, J. A. Students, A. Dauge, and E. Pētersons: interchange among education and personal development; role of a teacher and the family in the process of personal development; the necessity of balance between education, culture, and mental values for personal development.
