Dzeja un dziesma kā līdzeklis svešvalodas prasmju pilnveidošanai un mācību motivācijas sekmēšanai vidusskolā

Abstract

„Dzeja un dziesma kā līdzeklis svešvalodas prasmju pilnveidošanai un mācību motivācijas sekmēšanai vidusskolā”. Pētījuma mērķis ir teorētiski pamatot un eksperimentāli pārbaudīt dzejas un dziesmu izmantošanas efektivitāti angļu valodas stundās mācību motivācijas un pozitīvās attieksmes sekmēšanai, skolēnu valodas uztveres attīstīšanai un līdz ar to svešvalodas prasmju pilnveidošanai. 1. daļā aplūkoti mācību motivācijas un attieksmes psiholoģiski pedagoģiskie aspekti, mācību procesa individuālizācijas problēmas, raksturotas vidusskolēnu individuāli psiholoģiskās īpatnības. Piedavātā metodiskā sistēma dzejas un dziesmu izmantošanai svešvalodas stundās darbā tiek pamatota gan no pedagoģijas un psiholoģijas viedokļa, gan arī tiek ņemti vērā svešvalodas un literatūras mācīšanas metodiskie aspekti. 2. daļā izstrādāta metodiskā sistēma dzejas un dziesmu efektīgai izmantošanai svešvalodas stundās. Veikti praktiskie pētījumi piedāvātās metodiskās sistēmas ieviešanā angļu valodas apguvē vidusskolā: izstrādātas sešas metodiskās pieejas un tām atbilstoši uzdevumi, pārbaudīta metodiskās sistēmas efektivitāte praksē (darbā ir skolēnu radošo darbu / dzejas tulkojumu paraugi). Darbā tika raksturots eksperimenta grupu skolēnu angļu valodas prasmes līmenis un viņu individuālās īpatnības (temperaments, motivācijas līmenis, attieksme pret angļu valodu) eksperimenta sākuma un nobeiguma stadijā, veikta izstrādātās metodikas efektivitātes analīze.

“Poetry and songs as a means for improving the English Language Skills and motivation for studies (for the Secondary Schools)”. The aim of the research is to prove theoretically and try experimentally the efficiency of using poetry and songs in the English language classroom for enhancing the language skills and motivation for studies. The first part of this paper highlights the theoretical and psychological aspects of using poetry and songs in the language classroom in terms of the teaching/learning process individualization. The concept and the aim of this process as well as the methods for determining the students’ individual features (including their motivation for studies, attitude to the English language learning process and their psychological differences) are considered in this paper. The second part of this paper deals with the practical aspects related to the introduction of the suggested methodological approaches for acquisition of the English language and shows their effeciency. The author has compiled both the methodological system for using poetry and songs in the language classroom and the corresponding exercises. The paper shows the English language acquisition level of the experimental groups and their individual features at both the initial and final stage of the experiment and analyses the efficiency of the methods mentioned.
