Radošie uzdevumi kā motivējošs līdzeklis skolēnu iesaistīšanai angļu valodas stundās vidusskolā

Abstract

Diplomdarbs “Radošie uzdevumi kā līdzeklis skolēnu iesaistīšanai angļu valodas stundās” tika uzrakstīts, lai noskaidrotu, kā angļu valodas skolotājs, izmantojot radošos uzdevumus, var iesaistīt skolēnus līdzdarboties angļu valodas stundās. Diplomdarba autore uzskata, ka skolēnu iesaistīšana stundās ir būtisks jautājums skolotājam un tāpēc diplomdarba autore nolēma veikt pētījumu par skolēnu iesaistīšanu stundās. Diplomdarba autore savā pētījumā izmantoja trīs metodes. Aptauja tika izmantota, lai noskaidrotu skolēnu viedokli par to, kuri faktori dara angļu valodas stundas interesantas. Atsauksmju lapas tika izmantotas, lai noskaidrotu skolēnu domas un izjūtas pēc katras, pētījumam paredzētās, stundas. Novērošanas lapas tika izmantotas, lai noskaidrotu praktizējošā angļu valodas skolotāja viedokli par pētījumam paredzētajām stundām. Diplomdarba autore, veicot pētījumu, ieguva šādus rezultātus: radošumu klasē var panākt izmantojot radošus uzdevumus. Radošie uzdevumi ir balstāmi uz skolēnu zināšanām, interesēm, hobijiem un intelektuālo attīstību. Pētījums parādīja, ka skolēni klasē bija aktīvi, veicot radošos uzdevumus. Radošie uzdevumi attīsta skolēnu kritisko un radošo domāšanu. Pētījuma laikā skolēni klasē parādīja kritisku izpratni un izmantoja savu radošumu, lai izpildītu uzdevumus. Diplomdarba autore no savāktajiem rezultātiem secināja, ka skolotājam, lai izplānotu veiksmīgu stundu, vajag domāt par skolēnu interesēm, lai tādējādi iesaistītu skolēnus klases darbā. Radošie uzdevumi palīdz ne tikai iesaistīt skolēnus stundās, bet arī radīt pozitīvu atmosfēru, kas ir būtisks faktors tiem skolēniem, kam nepatīk mācīties angļu valodu.

The Diploma Paper “Creative Activities as a Means for Motivating Students’ Participation in English Lessons at Secondary School” was written in order to find out how the English teacher can use creative activities to motivate students to participate in the English lessons. The author of the Diploma Paper considers students’ participation in the lesson as essential issue for the teacher and therefore the author of the Diploma Paper considered doing research in the issue of students’ participation in the lesson. The author of the Diploma Paper used three methods to do studying. Questionnaire was used in order to find out students’ point of view about the factors, which make English lessons interesting. The feedback lists were used in order to find out students’ thoughts and feelings after each lesson, which were organized in the framework of the study. The observation list was used in order to get the teacher’s analysis of the lesson according to the criteria. The study allowed the author of the Diploma Paper finding out the following issues: creativity in the classroom can be gained by using creative activities. Creative activities depend on students’ knowledge background, interests, hobbies and intellectual development. The research showed that students in the classroom were active, while doing creative activities. Creative activities develop students’ critical, and creative thinking skills. Students in the classroom showed critical understanding and used their creative thinking skills to do the tasks. The author of the Diploma Paper concludes from the collected data that the teacher needs to think of students’ interests for planning a successful lesson and to activate students to participate. Creative activities help not only to activate students in the lesson, but also to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom, which is an essential issue for students, who do not like studying English. Creative activities develop students’ critical and creative thinking skills.
