Lasītmācīšanas metožu un skolotāju priekšstatu ietekme uz lasītprasmi bērniem ar Dauna sindromu

Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums: Lasītmācīšanas metožu un skolotāju priekšstatu ietekme uz lasītprasmi bērniem ar Dauna sindromu. Darba autore: Līga Šneidere. Autore šajā darbā vēlējās uzzināt, vai Rīgā bērniem ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasme ir tādā līmenī, kāda tā aprakstīta dažādos pētījumos un citu valstu pieredzē, kā arī noskaidrot, kas un kā ietekmē šo lasītprasmi un kādas izmaiņas būtu vajadzīgas, lai uzlabotu lasītprasmi Rīgas bērniem ar Dauna sindromu. Šajā darbā tika pētīta Rīgas bērnu un jauniešu ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasme; skolotāju izmantotās metodes, mācot lasīt bērniem ar Dauna sindromu, un skolotāju priekšstati par lasītprasmes apguves spējām un īpatnībām bērniem ar Dauna sindromu. Tika pētīta arī lasītmācīšanas metožu un skolotāju priekšstatu ietekme uz bērnu ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasmi. Tika secināts, ka Rīgas bērniem ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasme ir ievērojami zemāka par iespējamo; ka, mācot šos bērnus bieži tiek izmantotas nepareizas lasītmācīšanas metodes; ka anketētajiem skolotājiem bieži ir nepareizs viedoklis par bērnu ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasmes apguves spējām un īpatnībām, kā arī, ka nepareizās lasītmācīšanas metodes un skolotāju nepareizie priekšstati negatīvi ietekmē skolēnu ar Dauna sindromu lasītprasmi.

Name of the work: The impact of the methods of teaching reading and the impact of the teachers’ opinions to the reading ability of the children with Down syndrome. The author wanted to discover in this work, if the reading ability of the children with Down syndrome in Riga is in the same level, as it is described in different researches and in the expierence of other countries. The author also wanted to discover, what does impact this reading ability, how does this happen and, what changes would be needed to improve the reading ability of the children with Down syndrome in Rīga. There was researched in this work the reading ability of the children and young people in Riga; the methods, what teachers use for teaching reading to those children; teachers’ opinions about the possibilities for children with Down syndrome to learn to read. It was researched, how does the teaching methods and teachers opinions affect the reading ability of the children with Down syndrome. It was discovered, that the reading ability of tthe children with Down syndrome in Riga is much lower, than it could be; that, the wrong teaching methods are often used for teaching reading; that teachers often have wrong opinions about childrens with Down syndrome ability to learn to read and, that the wrong teaching methods and the wrong teachers opinions have a negative impact on the reading ability of the children with Down syndrome in Riga.
