Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām, kur pirmajā daļā(8.-16. lpp.) analizētas adaptācijas atziņas un to ietekmējošie faktori. Otrajā daļā ( 17.- 26. lpp.) izvērtēts vecumposma nozīmīgums bērna adaptācijai pirmsskolas izglītības iestādē un trešajā daļā ( 27.-35. lpp.) aplūkotas ģimenes un pedagogu mijiedarbības nozīme. Ceturtā daļā apkopoti pētījuma rezultāti ( 36.- 49. lpp.). Darbam pievienoti 4.pielikumi. Darbā izmantoti 28 literatūras avoti. Darbs papildināts ar 4 tabulām un 9 attēliem.
Darbā izmantotas atziņas no A. Maslova (A. Maslow) vajadzību teorijas, kas pamato bērna personības attīstību, apmierinot vajadzības.L.S.Vigotskapamatkritēriji bērna attīstības iedalīšanai atsevišķos vecumposmos un stabilie jaunveidojumi, kuri šajos vecumposmos rodas. Ē. Eriksona „Personības psihosociālā attīstība”, kas nosaka, ka katrā no attīstības posmiem tiek apmierinātas noteiktas vajadzības. Kā arī Ž.Ž.Piažē kognitīvās attīstības teorija atziņas, kur uzsvērta adaptācija, kā viens no centrālajiem jēdzieniem. Darbā izmantoti dažādu autoru grāmatas par pedagoģiskiem un psiholoģiskiem jautājumiem, periodika, interneta materiāli, mācību materiāli un autora personīgā pieredze.
Pētījuma mērķis ir apkopot atziņas bērna attīstības posmiem, ģimenes un pirmsskolas sadarbības nozīmību., par adaptācijas perioda īpatnībām un iespējām to atvieglot bērniem uzsākot apmeklēt pirmsskolas izglītības iestādi. Tādejādi darbam ir praktiska nozīme, izmantojot iegūtās atziņas ikdienas darbā ar vecākiem, bērniem un kolēģiem.

The Paper consists of four parts, and the first part (pages 8 – 16) includes the analysis of the findings related to the adaptation and factors influencing it. The second part (pages 17 – 26) contains the evaluation of the age-period significance in the adaptation of child to the pre-school education establishment, and in the third part of the Paper (pages 27 – 35) the author has studied the importance of the cooperation between the family and teacher. The fourth part includes the results of the study (pages 36 – 49). The Paper hasfour annexes and it has been supplemented with 4 tables and 9 images. In the study the author has used 22 references.
The author has applied the findings of the A. Maslow theory on needs, on which the development of the child’s personality trough the satisfaction of needs is substantiated. Other sources employed in the Paper are L. S. Vygotsky key criteria for breaking down the child’s development into separate age-periods and his studies on stable new formations arising during these periods; „Psychosocial development of personality“ worked out by the E. Erikson, determining that in each development stage a certain needs are satisfied; as well as finding of the J. Piaget cognitive development theory that emphasizes the adaptation as one of the main concepts. In the Paper the author has used books written by various authors on pedagogical and psychological issues, as well as periodicals, Internet sources, training materials and own experience of the author.
The goal of the study is to compile findings on stages of the child’s development, importance of the cooperation between family and pre-school establishment, characteristics of adaptation period and opportunities to facilitate the child’s enrolment in pre-school education establishment. Thus, the Paper has practical significance, as it allows using the findings in daily work with parents, children and colleagues.
