Pētījuma piedalījās 197 jauniešu vecumā no 16 līdz 22 gadiem.

197 people from 16 to 22 years old participated in this study. Methods „ Family Expressiveness Questionnaire ” and “Attachment Styles inventory” were used in this study.
Results allow to conclude that there is no statistically significant difference in emotional climate and structure of the family and the ways in attachment to the parents between marijuana using and marijuana free group. It indicates that the emotional climate and structure of the family and the attachment to the parents are not essential variables in usage of marijuana. Statistically significant differences were observed in elusive and addictive attachment to the mother and elusive attachment to the father examining differences between genders. Wherewith it can be concluded that elusive attachment with the father and the mother is noticed more often for men than for women and the addictive attachment to the mother can be noticed for women more often than for men.
