Pusaudžu pilsoniskās identitātes veicināšana sociālo zinību stundās

Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma „Pusaudžu pilsoniskās identitātes veicināšana sociālo zinību stundās”. Pilsoniskās izglītības mērķis ir attīstīt skolēnos tādas zināšanas, attieksmi un prasmes, kas sekmētu viņu aktīvu piedalīšanos sabiedriskajā dzīvē un ļautu viņiem sekmīgi pildīt savas pilsoņa funkcijas. Svarīgi pusaudžiem sociālo zinību stundās sniegt papildus zināšanas par Eiropas Savienību. Pētījuma mērķis: Pamatot skolotāja lomu skolēnu pilsoniskās izglītības un identitātes veicināšanā sociālo zinību stundās pamatskolā. Darbs sastāv no 4 nodaļām un 10 apakšnodaļām. Darbā veikts pētījums par iegūtajām zināšanām saistībā ar Eiropas Savienību un Latviju kā vienu no dalībvalstīm. Darba pētījuma daļā tiek salīdzināti Starptautiskā pilsoniskās izglītības IEA ICCS 2009 pētījuma Eiropas moduļa rezultāti un autores veiktais pētījums 8.klasēs. Pielikuma atspoguļoti stundu plāni, prezentācijas. Darba apjoms 45 lapas un tajā ir 4 tabulas, 4 attēli un 12 diagrammas. Atslēgas vārdi – sociālās zinības, pilsoniskā izglītība, identitāte.

The theme of the diploma paper is “Promotion of adolescents’ civic identity in social studies lessons”. The goal of the civic education is to help students develop knowledge, attitude and skills that improve and add to their involvement and participation in the social life of their country, as well as preparing them to fulfill the duties of a civilian. In addition, it is important to teach the students information and concepts related to the EU during the civic education classes. The goal of the research: To examine the role of the teacher in promoting students’ civic identity in social studies lessons in elementary school. The paper consists of 4 sections and 10 sub-sections. The paper is an investigation of the students’ knowledge about the EU in general and Latvia as the participant country in particular. The research is conducted as a comparison between the results and conclusions of the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS) IEA 2009 study (EU module) and the findings of the inquiry among the 8th grade students conducted by the author. There are lesson schedules and presentations included in the appendix. The amount of the work: 45 pages, including 4 tables, 4 images and 12 diagrams.
