Ķekavas novada kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma izmantošana vēstures mācīšanā 9.klasē

Abstract

Diplomdarba pētījums ir par Nāves salas kauju un Nāves salas piemiņas vietas izmantošanas iespējām un lokālās vēstures apzināšanu izglītības procesā. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot strēlnieku cīņas vietas Nāves salā izmantošanu un iespējas Latvijas un pasaules vēstures stundās 9. klasē, apgūstot tēmu „ Strēlnieku cīņas Rīgas frontē”. Pētījuma uzdevumi ir – atlasīt un apkopot teorētisko literatūru par Ķekavas novada kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma – Nāves salas notikumiem, veikt praktiskas darbības, veidojot mācību ekskursijas Nāves salā scenāriju un noskaidrot izglītojamo un skolotāju viedokļus par mācību ekskursiju kā mācību metodi, analizēt tos un izdarīt secinājumus. Diplomdarba tēma ir aktuāla Latvijā, jo, laikam ejot, daudzviet aizmirstībā paliek latviešu tautas varoņi un viņu veiktie varoņdarbi, tie ir jāaktualizē vēstures stundās, izmantojot lokālās vēstures mantojumu. Empīriskā pētījuma rezultāti atspoguļo izglītojamo un skolotāju viedokļus par mācību ekskursijas kā mācību metodes aktualitāti, svarīgumu un vietu mācību procesā. Izglītojamo praktiskās darbības rezultātā tika izveidots provizorisks izglītojoša pasākuma scenārijs Nāves salā, kurš tiks realizēts Nāves salas pieminekļa 90-tajā jubilejā 2014. gada vasarā.

The research of the diploma paper is about The Battle of Nāves sala and how visiting of the memorial site influences educational process and raises an interest about a local history and its memorial sites. The aim of the research is to find out what are the ways to use the riflemen battle scenes of Nāves sala in Latvian and world history lessons for Grade 9 when learning about the topic „ The Riflemen Battle Scenes in Riga’ s Front” . The objective of the research is to select and summarize available theoretical literature about the events which have taken place on Nāves sala which is a cultural and historical legacy of Ķekava’s district. Based on the gathered information the objective is to carry out practical lessons (hands-on project) by organizing educational excursions to the memorial site to find out and analyse students’ and teachers’ opinions about use of educational excursions as a learning method. The topic of the diploma paper is a live issue because over time people forget about the feat of arms made by Latvian heroes. The author of the diploma paper thinks that the heroes and the feat of arms should be updated and popularized in history lessons thereby using the heritage of local history in educational process. The results of empirical research reflect the students’ and teachers’ opinions about topicality and importance of excursions as a learning method and its role in a learning process. The result of learners’ hands-on project was a scenario of an educational event on Nāves sala which will be realized in summer 2014 when is monument’s 90th birthday.
