Novadpētniecība – nozīmīgs posms ģeogrāfijas apguves procesā pamatskolā: Kuldīgas novada piemērs

Abstract

Ikvienam cilvēkam, kurš jūtas piederīgs savai dzimtai vietai, novadam, valstij, būtu jāzina tās vēsture un ģeogrāfija. Kā viens no mūsdienu skolu jaunatnes galvenajiem uzdevumiem tiek izvirzīts uzdevums – attīstīt un veidot skolēnos patriotiskas jūtas pret savu dzimteni. Vairāki pedagogi praktiķi ir pierādījuši, ka skolēni daudz labāk apgūst to, kas saistīts ar tuvāko apkārtni, to kas balstīts uz pašu pieredzēto un pārbaudīto. Šādā veidā mācoties ir vieglāk izprast vispārīgās dabas likumsakarības. Novadpētniecība ir lielisks veids, kā veicināt un attīstīt pamatskolas skolēniem iepriekšminētās prasmes. Ģeogrāfijas mācību priekšmets ir viens no pateicīgākajiem novadpētnieciskā darba veikšanai. Tāpēc diplomdarba izstrādei autore izvēlējās darba tēmu: ‘’Novadpētniecība – nozīmīgs posms ģeogrāfijas apguves procesā pamatskolā: Kuldīgas novada piemērs.’’ Galvenais pētījuma mērķis darbā bija - Izpētīt Kuldīgas novada ģeogrāfisko telpu, dabu, iedzīvotājus, un izstrādāt Novada mācības programm

One of the main task in the process of education and teaching new generation is formating and developing patriotic sentiments toward their native country. Every human beeing, who loves his motherland, must be aware of the history and geography of the country and region he comes from. Learners obtain knowladge better by observing, exploring surronding- this is a verity proved by practice. It is much easier for them relate everything seen, discovered and released with common nature patterns. Study of local lore is an excellent way to promote and develop skills mentioned above. Geography as a school subject is most appropiate for a process of studying local lore.
